I felt that this was foreshadowing the Mau Mau revolt that would happen a few years later. I had hoped that this would be an opportunity to examine what really happened before Kenya's independence. I would be disappointed and the series became increasingly soapy.

Fine, if Britain doesn't want to return, just tax these businesses out of existence. Native Kenyans can form their own cooperatives and buy the assets at auction price. However, the minority white owned farms today produce more crops than the rest of the countries other farms combined. If Kenya take those farms as well they might follow the Zimbabwe model where imports exceed exports.
