If you go this route, expect to wait 2 to 3 months to get approved. I applied at the end of March and it just got approved this week. Not sure if my lender was not doing their job or if this is typical.

My biggest stumbling block is that I am required to have a business address to get an EIN in Arizona, I must have an EIN to get a business account, and must have business banking accounts to apply for loans and grants. If I already had the $5000 to rent the affordable office I have located, I wouldn’t even want a loan or an EIN to begin as a sole proprietorship. I can’t use my home address as an administrative office because I live in another state on the Arizona boarder, not in the Arizona small town I want to start a practice in. Even as I am planning to save every penny from a few months salary for start-up costs, this issue of needing a business location address to apply for an EIN required for business banking accounts that are required to lease a location has me stuck. Suggestions? And yes, it has occurred to be to vlog the journey for others facing the same challenge.

There are some UPS Stores that have mailboxes that can be considered your business address. Have you tried that? Or...does the Gov't come snooping to verify?

I use Post Net, they offer a PO box but with a physical address.
