Guys, trust me, this is exactly how I began my presentation and everyone was paying attention, Even the teacher complimented my ability to capture their attention. I got an A, do you realise how hard it is to get an A in this teacher’s class presentations ?! There was this one girl who made an absolute ,,chef’s kiss’’ presentation and she only got an A-. Usually the teacher would tell you what you did right and wrong, but she only had good things to Say about my project. There is also one other thing you can do ( but you can only do this if you know that your teacher is nice and doesn’t get upset over small things ): Try having some little reactions to your own speech like, for example: I was talking about a book, in this book a guy promised something to another guy, but he tried to leave without keeping his promise , after saying that I said a little ,,yikes’’ this entertained my classmates a little , which made them pay attention more, because the presentation was no longer boring or lifeless :) Don’t overuse this though

I tried that and my teacher said "no, start with your introduction" 😭😭😭

After 5 whole minutes curiosity building: Teacher : you do know that your topic is projected in your presentation the entire ass time right?

Here's my tip on presentation with big audience. Just silent for a few second, pretend you forget something. And the audience will start wonder why the hell it's not starting yet. When the audience looking at you start the presentation

this is good advice. To talk animatedly during your presentations and having some good creative slides can get the attentioj of the class. even the ones who dont listen normally

I personally find that adding humor to your presentation makes it very engaging.

If I'm not wrong, this advice is a small subset of storytelling. It's quite an interesting skill to look into if people want to present well.

Honestly this is what i also do, my topic mostly relate to salesman/marketing business so i give a out most curiosity on my product. Since a full semester is making a unique product and presented it

I usually start it with a quote. Yup! Skip good morning or something like that when its class presentation. And ask questions. It makes the presentation even better. And the point you said was a really great one!

I got around this well, I think. For a presentation in English class we were allowed to use a PowerPoint, and instead of using one with loads fo text and shitty images, it had one picture. I got up, lights went off and on the wall behind me was the CIA logo in black and white. I did my presentation on Operation Acoustic Kitty in the kind of way a military debrief would be done (in movies at least). Teacher smiled the whole way through and said it was very well done and even jogged his own memory as he was alive at the time but has completely forgotten about it.

it’s about developing your own style, it takes time and practice, no video is gonna help you presentations, only presenting will.

And if you have social anxiety or stage fright?

Everyone got different style. One of my classmates went one word per slide and it works. We got a big laugh on how simple it is. He is actually a genius though, does things differently but still works.

Moral of the story: If you your presentation to be good, don't talk about the topic. Talk about whatever you want.

Ok 1 simple trick: search topic of your presentation and type filetype:ppt after it example: resources filetype:ppt and bamn u got free ppt file
