I would agree with you if this train system was for cargo. Investing in a country is based on demand, electricity and security for the companies and the country as a whole. It's bigger than just a train.

@@MajorrBison dangote put 10 billion plant in nigeria without light, africa natural resources limited just put 600million dollar steel plant in kaduna without light. Indorama invested 4billion dollars in urea in pH without light. We nigerians talk down on our country. Smart investors know what they are looking for

Abuja rail system was never in operation until this week when its operation was launched by the FTC. Minister and President Tinubu. The Metro rail structure launched in Abuja were the stations, not the operational system. Lagos metro was in operation before Abuja.

Is not Nigeria first light rail. Abuja light rail is Nigerian first light rail. I think calabar monorail is Nigerian first.

@@chrisudoka5420this is a metro not light rail. We currently don't have any light rail in Nigeria. We have mono rail in port Harcourt and the Metro in Abuja and Lagos. Light rails are train systems with train stops similar to the regular BRT bus stops in Lagos. There is no light rail. If you compare the rail system in Lagos to the one is Ethiopia you'll see the difference. Light rails don't have mega stations like the one in Lagos and Abuja.

@@alicetafara9514 oh common what makes you think there is no rail in my city, I hope you know it all started in Abuja and I have used it so many times, I am only sharing in his experience as regarding an escalator which you can find even in shop-rites, shopping malls so please be calming down ok 😂😂 Lagos is not heaven, you need to travel to other Cities.

Hmm it depends on the time of the day, try go and take a ride at rush hour, say from 5pm😅😅 you will know that Lagosians have no joy cos they will push you. The redline rail will commence before end of 2024.
