I couldn't do it. We just lost our absolute favorite kitty unexpected last weekend and if it was a matter of money we would have dropped 50 grand to save him if it was possible. But cloning only reproduces a very similar looking cat with an entirely different personality of their own. They would only be a constant reminder of the loss and the differences between them... it would be so hard.

Cloning your pets is an excellent idea and i know it's going to be expensive; but the love and comfort that our pets give us would be worth the price. Also I think that we should be careful when cloning on pets; as a clone is genetic replica of your pet including any genetic problems.

@@javierdenardo2607 because maybe some people want to have the sentiment and look of their old pet. It's not a charity, If you care so much about these other cats then go adopt 200 of em and stfu

I'm sure Stephen King will write an interesting story about cloned pets! Cloning is something different, but similar to Pet Cemetery, because like she said they look the same but are completely different cats. Sure different upbringing but it still only the body not the Spirit of the old pet! How long will it be before they are Okaying cloning Humans? Maybe Five , Ten years! Or if you're rich enough can you do it Now?

Cloning isn't that ethically strange... Cloning is basically the same as creating an identical twin which as you know happens naturally now and then. That's all it is.
