That Alfa 75 is so neat. Nothing really done to it and a great example (from what we've seen). The older it gets the more you'll appreciate it, and more people around you will too. Keep it going, man! I'd love to see this on the road in 10 years time.

Unfortunately, it's now old-enough to be mocked for styling, but not old-enough to be saved as a classic. I mean, come on! Alfa v6, manual-5, gearbox in the rear, this thing is a proper grand-tourer. (not to mention wicked 80's poster, a moving piece of *good* history.) And ^that-one^ is a minter.

Your car has inspired me! Maybe I can run a SORNed/no rego MX-5 for offroading even though I can't afford car insurance for a roadcar. That said, there are not too many spots for good offroading round my neck of the woods, so I'll have to look into it. Does she grip well in the muck?

The handles were used by “rebel” Japanese drifters to judge the height of their car, they would strap it to the back and when it was scraped up they’d change it cause they’d know their car was low enough Episode Chasing midnight- mighty car mods. REFERENCE

This theory is actually kinda dumb. Every car has their tow hooks at a different height. The better theory is that some gang stole them from busses or trains as some kind of gang thing and it became a thing.

Japanese subway grab handle would be fitted before you modded the car and lowered it. After you lower it the grab handle wears out and is a visual reference for how much the car is lowered from stock. 👍

Over lockdown lots of people (me included) have looked into getting a range of license add ons. It would be awesome to have a series where ethan tries to get all these licenses like trailer (assuming he's like us young people who don't have permission to do anything), motorbike (maybe just the cbt), to show how hard/easy it is

The dongle at the back is the reason for the ride height on the Scubbt JDM. The car can be no higher that the hand strap it's not just decoration.

I had a really nice gunmetal grey Ford Sierra that handled like a go kart. In the sense that when I was 14 I was go karting and I got rear ended so hard, it ended up in the garage for ages.

My friend had a 1.3 micra that had the same sort of mods and it was actually quite a lot of fun to drive and did handle not horrendously. The guy he bought it from had spent more on the leather interior than what my friend bought the car for.
