One of my favorite races In my world building project is called the chelok, cat like people with low empathy towards other races, they live up north and like heavy armor and flamethrowers, also do the brokder like ice cream or did you just want to eat ice cream while recording?

Religion has a defined set of dieties, beliefs and rituals in wich the community firmly believes in. Superstition is the various local legends and folklore, like "There are spirits that come in the house at night" or "Don't go in that cave, it houses a monster".
