For ME, this doesn't matter. I'll vote for whoever the Dems put up, simply because they aren't Trump. I would literally vote for a literal pile of poo before Trump. Because I trust a pile of poo more than Trump. However, I am not the undecideds in our country. (Frankly, I'm not sure there CAN be undecideds, but that's another question.) For them, I think they may lack confidence in Biden. Moving to, for example, Harris, may be the correct move. Meanwhile I will vote for vomit before Trump. For acute appendicitus before Trump. For the abolishment of pineapple on pizza before Trump, and that's a hard one for me as I really like pineapple on pizza. Have I made myself clear? Biden was listening to a torrent of lies and misinformation and how suprising was it that he lost his train of though? Saletan can't maintain a train of though coherently enough to understand that you don't undermine a Democratic presidential candidate thereby providing support for a sociopath. Where was Saletan when Trump was president? His comments are bordering on delusional. Where are Saletan's calls to Trump to step down? Why do Democrats have to be so destructive to their own candidate?

Why? WHY? I see no upside.

I don't think Biden can attract enough Young/Swing voters after that debate, He was losing in the polls before the debate. I see a Hail-mary with Harria and a certain defeat with Biden.

@@willchristie2650 Maybe WINNING THE DAMN ELECTION means not switching candidates at the last second. Eye roll.

@@jombeemeanstroke6426 Seriously. There's a second debate. Just own it. If we change now, might as well say to the American people, "Tried to sneak that one by you. Our bad." It would be an overnight loss of trust for the Dems.

I don't believe that Harris could do it. She's not a strong candidate. I've wanted to like her, but she hedges just about everything she's asked about. Like she doesn't want to get caught saying the wrong thing. And the whole campaign finance thing would create problems for anyone else. I'll be voting D up and down the ballot if Biden steps aside or not. I just hope we can rally ALL never Trumpers to do the same.

The most reasonable video I have seen so far on KZfaq. You don't win by being good, you win by having a good strategy against your opponent. The interests of the country come first before the personal interests of any presidential candidate. I recognize that the threat is not Biden but on the contrary his opponent, that is why we have to ask ourselves, is Biden the only one who can defeat Trump? Presidents come and go, democracies do not. Our fight must be focused on preserving our democracy.

America broke up with Trump and his administration because he/they were a disaster. In dating going back to your ex is never a good choice. Especially one that was a narcissist. Biden could be on life support, and he would still get my vote. Only one candidate believes America is a good place and is actively working to improve it. There is no hope for MAGA they are far too gone and suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. America has gone 249 years without a dictator. We the people do not need a dictator for any length of time.

As far as dictator, keep on mind a few things. 32% of Americans believe that religious views should dictate our laws. Theocracy *is* authoritarianism. And what percentage of citizens voted for Trump? Slightly less than a third. And how many either didn't vote, or voted third party? More than a third. That leaves what percentage voting against authoritarianism? The reason we'll collapse into authoritarianism is we the people. Some of my comments that have been deleted stands out to me. What is now the mission of the Bulwark network? We can blame politicians, the press, the courts, wealthy persons who have finances the slide toward authoritarianism, but ultimately it is we the people who will be at fault, first and foremost, for finding ourselves with a dictator. We the citizenry are at fault for the collapse of freedom in our nation.
