I have listened to "It's Dark and Hell is Hot" front to back, back to front repeatedly since it dropped. It's IMO on of the top 10 hip-hop albums of all time.

I met DMX in Miami, FLA some years ago around 2am. I was walking home, stopped at the gas station and saw X. We spoke for a few about music and NY. When I was leaving X offered me a ride to my crib. I declined because I was on a mission. X was so cool. Great vibe. It was a pleasure to have met him. Blessings King. 💪🏿🤴🏾👑😇✊🏿🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Dmx was in dc and asked my cousin could he buy his car for $10,000 right now. My cousin declined and dmx and his boys still hung out in the club parking lot with us for 4 hours. 💯💪🏿✊🏿 definitely a Real 1.

@D Jay 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 naw, he liked tf out of my cuz monte carlo and I think he just wanted to get that speed thrill and the only way to do so, was to ask to buy it. X had only a stack in his pocket of 10000 on him. My cousin wasn't giving that car up for nothing. He built it up and still have it til this day. I'm trying to get him to paint DMX on the hood

I am poor lady from Botswana 🇧🇼 Africa 🥺every time I go back and watch everything about DMX. God I loved that guy...every day I tell my self,I am going to work hard 💪, go to America and then go to the Yonkers to just walk on the same grounds he use to so I can feel like I knew him in reallife.i always cry 😢. Truly one of my favorite rappers, I met DMX 5 different times throughout my life and each one had an amazing story. DMX is the only rapper I’ve seen that can go wherever by himself and be good! 🙅🏾♂️

I met Dmx back in 03' when i was young working at the airport in chicago , he talked to me and my co worker like 5 min. he didnt have to but he did was one of the most down to earth guys you could ever meet.

I met X a couple years ago. He kept looking at me and then came over and shook my hand. I believe that was the man above who let me meet him before he died, I’m glad I got to experience that, I’ll never forget that night in Lawrence, Ks 2019

💯💯💯 I would say DMX got more love than everyone including Biggie @ The Bad Boy Reunion Tour in '16... the gag is he was a guest (that's obviously not his label). His energy was obviously felt in a major way; HE SHUT IT DOWN.!!! The crowd went WILD; no one was sitting.!

DMX was just genuine no need to over exaggerate his lifestyle because it was authentic .. just like with Nas they are one in the same... nowadays you have these pretenders to be whatever way they need to be to sell records and for D that was never the case he was just him everyday all day, and honestly that's what's missing in today's culture. So glad to have those of Nas, AZ, Common, etc to give life back into hip-hop ..

People from the hood really relate to them because they come from that environment. Kanye on the other hand is simply known and related too commercially.

Its easy to believe DMX got all the love he got. You ever see the videos with X? The ones where he probably don't know there is even someone recording? Those ones. I never met him, but I can tell he was humble, down to earth, and genuine. He probably handed out a lot of the money he made to regular people on the street, but more then that I heard him talk to people on some of the videos where he gave me hope. HE WASN'T EVEN TALKING TO ME!!!! I wish he was still here with us.

X was the voice of the streets, he made praying in the hood look cool because he was not ashamed to speak the word. When he died, the world paused. I'm not going to lie but it really hurt me when I heard that X passed, I'm still hurt. My favorite rapper is gone but not forgotten, NY has officially given him his own day on his birthday, December 18th. So I will be celebrating my birthday December 17th and his.

He sold millions of records. Incredible movie career. Yet when he passed away he died broke and didn't leave any money for his kids and/or family and that shit breaks my heart. DMX is forever a legend and it sucks that depression and addiction led up to us losing him. LONG LIVE DMX.

I miss X. I loved watching his interviews. He was just another dude. He aint care, he was just who he was. Made some mistakes like we all do as humans. Owned them. He was right, humble, and just all around had his morals cemented. If there is a heaven, i have 0 doubts god called him home. RIP, the world lost a real one.

I remember this bus was going off a cliff during the class field trip, busted through a fence and everything and right when it was gonna tilt off all of a sudden the whole bus straightened back up! When we looked back it was DMX pulling us off the edge with his barehands true story!!! RIP X
