have a 2011 rx350 i bought 5 years ago for $17K with 90K miles. Put on about 35K. only issue was alternator. other than that, extremely reliable. started changing the oil myself. well built car for sure. still so comfortable and great riding. decent mileage on the hwy, around 24mpg

2015 RX 350 F-Sport. 116k miles. Just got a quote from a local shop for over $1k to replace the alternator. To get to the alternator, the radiator has to be removed. The job is quoted at 4.5 hours of labor. At 120k miles I planned to have a tuneup. Quoted almost $900 for that. These aren’t even Dealer quotes. Push button start takes a few tries to work. Electric door locks are malfunctioning. Currently looking to replace with a newer vehicle. Engine and trans are perfect, but the electronics are starting to fail and that gets expensive.

In Canada these things are over 20k and not to mention the rust on old cars here is pretty common. Also, we pay anywhere between $180 to $400 for insurance every month.

Hubby just bought me the '22 RX350 F Sport and I'm in looooovvvvee. I plan to keep this one for a long time! I can't wait until it's paid off, but I'll keep it for many years after I'm sure.

I have an 06 RX330, bought it one year ago, almost exactly. My wife and I have already put on about 35k miles in that year. It is due for new tires (on order), and new brakes. The timing belt is due at 208k miles and we're now at 173k miles. We just moved back into the states for my wife's medical and needed a vehicle fast, everything was so expensive and this nice man had just listed the vehicle. The interior is an 8.5 out of 10, and the exterior is about the same. Best part is no rust! We're thinking about putting new tires and brakes on it, cleaning it up, and then selling it at end of the summer because we want a 2012 350h with lower miles (or whatever year had hybrid and AWD for that generation). We drive so many miles for work, medical, and play that the hybrid version would save of decent amount of money while still having AWD and room for traveling.

Yes, Lexus Rx is top 2 best suvs in reliablity and comfort. Personally, i feel the Acura MDX is on equal level but i like the sportier techy MDX over Luxury and comfort Lexus RX. I have a 2014 Acura MDX, and it has everything the RX has, cabin talk, lane assist, integrated dynamic system, blue tooth integration, lane departure warning, back up camera etc.....

I bought used 2017 luxury model that had around 124k miles for 24k. One owner. At that time it was still a good price since car values were really high.

I got a Lexus rx330 thunderbolt edition 2005 185thousand miles for 6300 had to get a coil tuneup and timing belt 1298.80 for repair but inside and outside is beautiful drives smooth hopefully I keep the maintenance on it will last me a while I don't drive many miles maybe 20.miles a week

I got my 2016 rx from a BMW Spokane dealer, timing cover leaked and rear main seal, $7000 later it's running fine. Don't trust dealers. These are common problems with this motor.

I had a 2nd RX. Very solid luxury CUV. However, there is an issue with the cracking dash pads. Otherwise it’s a crossover that is bound to effortlessly hit 400k miles.

In 2015 I was shopping for a new car that would last, I was looking at a new Camry LE base. I don’t even think it had power seats or a camera. Happened to find a CPO ‘12 RX350 with 25k miles online. Bought it for $27k with warranty. Loaded with navigation and everything. Silver on black. Now it has 140k and hasn’t given me a single problem. Just did a few preventative maintenance: trans oil flush, fan belts, and spark plugs. Plan on driving it until the “wheels fall off”!
