My husband died Jan 4 2022, in a bad trucking accident in Colorado.. I miss him soooooo much. This is our song.. I love you and miss you sooo much James Fiddler. Until I see you again ..

It's hard to raise a family when your on the road, you miss so much of them growing up, and when your about to climb up to your chair and your little girl comes running, crying daddy don't go why do you have to go!! Makes you look at your rig and wonder is it really worth it?? You love your job and hate it at the same time but can't see yourself doing anything else for a living. This is a wonderful video, it really hits home

Being out here is hard puts a lot of miles on a persons self being. I've been out here four years. What I've learned is that you take pride in what you do and appreciate what's waiting for you when you walk back through the door.

I was out there 20 straight years last 20 hit and miss. It never got easy to leave the ones you love. But after 40 years in the industry one way or another. The keys are on the wall now. Just serving my LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST now as a preacher

Your song hits home with me. I was a long haul trucker, but in the 80s- 90s, retired now. Your song plus the video shows & tells what it was like for us. Thinking about our wives. family. etc. I loved trucking but missed my wife too. May God bless the truckers running the roads and their families too.

Wow, how could I have not seen this video yet ? or maybe I have ? Love this song... spent many many years on the road. Started when I turned 21. Long haul, OTR, Local... seems like I've done it all at one time or another. I always wanted to make a video like this >>> bot to this song, and many years earlier, to another song that I'm sure no one has ever heard. Great video ROAKLIN ! I’m a student at a driving academy.. I’m 27 years old and left behind 2 boys and my wife.. idk what’s waiting for me on those long roads but I know I got my fellow truckers beside me. God bless our troops and our truckers! We are truly the backbone of this country! 10-4!

Great song for a great video! I use to be a trucker as my dad as well I have nothing but respect for truckers knowing what they go thou day in and day out I drive school buses now so any time one passes me I flash them to let them know its clear to come over after they pass some thank me others dont but thats okay, and Some truckers even flash me as well witch I think is cool

thanks for sharing,makes me miss my family even more. it's not hard to sometimes forget why we are out here doing what we do. my uncle passed away a few yrs ago, he was a 47 yr veteran of the highway. I'm proud to say,I picked up where he left off. I'm the last in my family that drives. I hope to one day pass it on to my own. excellent song choice. please keep up the work

I'm a current otr owner operator but the time I get to spend with my family feels like it gets less compare to amount of time I spend on the road but hopefully soon my wife will be on the truck with me

I'm 3rd generation trucker, 25 yrs now chasing that white line. I've missed my kids growing up. It's hard leaving out an watching your kids waving bye to you. And it tough on the family you leave behind. You gotta love trucking to do it. I do believe it in your blood. If I could relive my life I would climb back in one an do it again. Now my son got his CDL an driving now the 4th generation to carry it on. Makes you proud

This is daily life for us otr gone for extended periods of time and mowing down mile after mile always thinking about family spouses kids and friends and just trying to get to each destination safely and trying to earn a living
