Yeah. He definitely needs to do a revisit w/ different Park Slopers. A bagel shop & a gift shop doesn't really seem to cut it. There are so many amazing restaurants, bars & bakeries just along 5th Ave alone. When this craziness is over with he should definitely think about doing it. My niece has lived there over the last year & she could show him & Adrianna a ton of cool places.

Great video bro. Love your channel. Park Slope is beautiful but it wasn't always a safe and friendly place. In the 80's it was pretty dangerous with muggings, drug dealing and homelessness. If you walked in Prospect Park at night back then... you were likely to be mugged. But now it's gentrified big time. It is alot better now.

Fun, fun, video. Great idea on doing neighborhoods. Nothing like a NY Bagel no matter where in NY you get them. They look delicious. That gift shop...Yes Spencer’s. Spencer’s started out as a Head Shop during the 60’s. Before selling some items became illegal.😀 you are too young to know that. Spencer’s was always a favorite of mine. I lived in Brooklyn for a couple of years and stayed in the Windsor Terrace section. I would take the bus to 7th Avenue and hangout in either Barnes & Noble, or go a little further down to the Starbucks. If 7th Avenue’s Starbucks was too crowded, I would go further down visit the Starbucks in Park Slope. It is a busy area, but still rather quiet and appealing. I would often walk dogs in Prospect Park, enjoying the water and the greenery. Thank you kindly for this video, as it brought back so many memories for me.

At the end of the video I misheard you saying "cart slope" like you made a baby carriage joke. It's a stereotype but partly rings true-though I more think of babies bungee strapped to Dads, tightly parked Subaru Foresters, and Moms with those three wheeled *jogging* strollers. Anyway, Park Slope is really beautiful. I think even the mayor lives there. And last time I checked. rents've cooled there compared to the areas around it. I even found some surprisingly affordable rooms for rent a few months ago. Honestly though, Park Slope is so nice, it's *too* nice. It's precious, if you know what I mean. It actually makes me feel uncomfortable in how safe it is. I need (and I'm use to) a little dirt in the neighborhood. And I kinda live by the rule: if It doesn't have a Kennedy's (Crown Fried Chicken), I can't live there. :)

Park slope is nice as long as it's white and the white areas I grew up in was park slope and prospect park west was my neighborhood since I moved out of there at a late age I learn a dig the lesson as specially if you're black and live around the area the people around there act like their friendly but it's all phony. It's no further than a hi and bye mutual daily thing. With Irish and some Italians may block you off socially no matter who you are as a black person. Comming from my experience as a black living there all these years. But the good thing I never learned to now is to learn to understand these people on account on their mutual friendliness shows their least respect.
