I just ordered a Manticore X with the gray handle and two tone magnacut recurve blade. Can't wait to get it in my pocket. I love my Axial Shift but I want a little more blade

I had never seen your channel and I really dig this video. Something you mentioned that had never occurred to me, how you don't do negative reviews, I totally understand that. I have a few microtechs and some other stuff, I just got my SCARAB II, it's amazing, but I'm admittedly very fond of OTFs. Thanks for the good content.

Really digging that blade grind! And the clip looks sooo much better that that crazy h that they put on some of their knives. I'm still semi ambivalent about OTFs, but it looks really nice!

You know, I really like heavier knives. I have had knives worth G 10 scales that felt like garbage. Honestly I don’t like that they feel so cheap even some of the more expensive brands feel cheap worth Getoun scale. I like the feel of a more solid knife.

I am down to Zero OTFs never had a expensive one only budget ones. I dig the blade on that one for sure. But I am with you they just don't tickle my fancy lol so I probably won't pony up the money for one. Great Grind on the Blade for sure.

Try out a Guardian tactical the way it fires is wow. And before them I hated OTFs

Really enjoy that blade shape, even tho I’m really not a tanto guy for sure. Something there really appeals. So I’m sure it’s not deadlock like, but are the blade tolerances good? Cheers 🍻

There is very little blade rock, and no rattle. I was impressed with it for sure.

Looks really nice. I don’t like the people set standards like 1 ounce per inch for everyone else’s comfort. I will carry it have a knife if I like it or I will carry a light knife if I like it just as well.

Good morning !! I’m still with your original view and don’t care for OTFs . Something about them are just not appealing to me . At least this one doesn’t have a super skinny looking blade on that boring rectangle handle . It does seem a little more balanced than most to me . But still not my style . Still enjoyed the video and appreciate you taking the time to make it 👍👍. Take care Peter

I don't get your viewpoint lol. You don't like microtech OTFs but you like this one. When they're actually very similar and actually made by the son of the owner of microtech. You keep comparing it to a combat troodon when it's more comparable with the microtech Ultratech instead. When you compare it to the ultratech it's actually the same price but microtechs use slightly better steel like 204p, m390 and elmax vs s35vn.

Similar isn't the same. The Heretic fits my hand better, has less blade play, has a better clip, and a more attractive blade. Knives are as personal as anything. This one works for me while the others don't.

Actually Heretic is now using magnacut. Also, Microtech is bottom of the barrel when it comes to OTFs. My Axial Shift cost half of what my Ultratech cost and has far better build quality, better edge retention, the ano job on the body holds up better, the clip is better, action is stronger, and the ergos are better. That's why Tony Senior wants to sue Axial. They make a better knife for half the price. I'm sure he'll be suing his son next because Heretic blows Microtech out of the water
