A new EP from Hermóðr is always something to pay attention to. Despite the incremental permutations of the formula, Rafn and Rosy always deliver a release that hits a sweet spot of satisfying melancholic, gently euphoric atmosphere - and sometimes more than gentle too.
Som Dödens Natt, the final track on this 3-track EP, is one of my favourite tracks the band has put out since Triumph. The climax is just perfectly pitched to hit every sensation on its upward ascent.
