Welcome back to another video. As many of you have requested, I am doing a full review of my box leather Kelly that I have had for a little while now. I feel like I am finally at a point where I have used the bag enough to share my honest opinion on it. Totally agree with you, your bag is so beautiful and I love the combination, it is so chic and classy at the same time. I have the same combination but in a Constance and love using it!😍🖤

Sharing the same opinion like you, Hermés has such nice colours I never wanted a black bag but I made an exception. I bought a Kelly 32 in box leather from 2000 and I love it. The shine is beautiful and I totally agree, Epsom is quite dull in black. I fell in love with the elegant shine of the box leather and my bag has brushed palladium hardwear which I adore. It was love at first sight with this bag 😍

The sheen on box leather is so beautiful. I love your bag jade! I have got a K25 in chamkila chevre, which is nearly as shiny!!! What do you do if you are caught in the rain while using her? Do you use the rain cover provided or an alternative?

Hey Sarah! I usually hide mine under my coat or sometimes I take a big foldable bag with me in case of emergency. But I always check the weather forecast and avoid using my box weather if there’s even 1% chance of rain 😂 the damage is not reversible.

This is really helpful! Can you also please review the exotic leathers? Especially the crocs? I really like shiny croc, but I don’t know how delicate are they really.

Need to be careful with oils. I stupidly stained my Himalayan croc after getting a "complimentary" hand massage at La Prairie; it was the most expensive freebie I've ever gotten. Luckily most of the stain was removed with Saphire Reptile cream. *face palm* The basics are that shiny gets matte and matte gets shiny with wear. Pale colours in croc also yellow with time (whites gain a warm tone over time). The main advantage of croc is that it is very lightweight so even bigger bags aren't a pain to carry. Ostrich can discolour horribly / unevenly from exposure to the sun. Lizard needs routine lotion application as it dries out very quickly.

Exactly! You know your stuff 🤍 I don’t think I would ever purchase a shiny croc because it’s really delicate and will loose its shine overtime.

re: shiny croc I will be finding that out soon as my most recent bag is a mix of fuchsia and blue porosus. Hopefully not too delicate. :S

Oh there are plenty of scratches on them 😂 I just use microfibre cloth for eyewear to clean them!

Humidity is fine but not direct liquid or water on the box leather. Humility tends to affect the hardwares more than the leather (tarnish faster). Just make sure it’s well ventilated and don’t keep the bags in the box!

Beautiful bag. When u talked about other leather, I heard you say “epson” 7:23 leather, is it epson or “epsom”?

It’s epsom 🤍 the most common leather for Hermes are epsom and togo!

Hello, My SA ask me today if I’m interested in a box leather purse. I heard you mention the box leather is more expensive than the Epsom in K25 . Can you share a price range of how much more.

I don’t know how much a kelly 25 in box leather costs now, but at the time of purchase (2022) it was €2500ish more than epsom!

Hello 🤍 bought this in 2022 and it was €10,100. Should be a little bit higher now as there’s been price increases. Box leather is a little bit more pricy than regular epsom/togo 🥰
