Love the ergonomics and how it flexes with your body. However its a bit small for me so I am going to look at the Mirra and the Aeron.
(This is my own opinion I was not paid by anyone.)

I'm a huge dude, 6'2" and about 350lbs and this chair seemed small at the beginning but I've grown to love it!

Is the back rest tall enough for you? Is it comfortable to lean back on it for extended periods of time? That’s the only think I was worried about about this chair.

@@pressrepeat2000 yep the back is good and haven't had issues with any long periods of sitting.

I see that you decided to go for the Top of the line and not keep the Sayl, but it was your review that decided me. I did not go with the Lumbar Support as it seemed extraneous, but I got the rest all adjustable and am glad I did so. I do spend most all of my day in the Sayl and am very happy with my choice. Being 99% plastic, I do find it rather creeky. I have had mine three weeks now and can heartily recommend it. I am 5’6” and 160#. I looked a gazillions of chairs online but the Sayl was so unique and original, it stayed in my head. So thanks for your review. 👍🏽

Glad someone reviewed and actually tested this chair out. Tried both Sayl and Aeron but Sayl was much more comfortable to me, Aeron just did not feel right despite all the great reviews and I tried all 3 sizes. I'm 5'5 and if you're a small dude, this chair is pretty much made for us. ALWAYS test a chair out and don't just follow online reviews blindly.

@@yoyotanvir I’m 5’9, 160lbs. I got my Sayl about two months ago and love it. For price reasons, the only feature I got was the adjustable lumbar support. I love this chair so far. I sit in it 8-10 hours a day (thanks WFH & CPA exam), and never get uncomfortable. I have a size C Aeron Classic in my work office, and I prefer my Sayl. I also like to sit with one leg crossed, which the Sayl is great for, but the Aeron’s “lip” on the edges makes it uncomfortable. In short, I think the Sayl is an amazing chair for the price.

I sat on this chair at a Coworking Space. It is so perfect I don’t get any pain at all after long hours.

Seat looks wide enough, but looks really shallow. Mira might be good. I thought I was going to like the Aeron the best, but when I sat in the Embody, that changed. I just can’t bring myself to spend $1500+ on a chair. I ended up ordering a refurbished Steelcase Leap v2 from BTOD.

Hey! Nice review! Question though. Is the default seat position if you don't get the adjustable seat in the same position as if it were fully recessed?

The plastic mesh is really firm for a back. I like arms and the wide cushion, but they must add a real upholster on it.

I have the Steelcase Leap at my office and at home I have the Herman Miller Aeron. I like the Aeron the best. I regret getting the Steelcase. I will upload a vid soon on the Steelcase...

Also you get what you pay for. The seat material, and comfort will ware out and the lumbar support to some of the cheaper ones, compared to of course expensive Aeron chair. Its got all the bells and whistles, but the material not built to last forever on the seat I would imagine, but 12 year warranty for it anyway.. I'm putting my money on Aeron or it's equivalent. I'm now happy with my Aeron almost a year old now. I bought it from an oline broker that sells them fully loaded with taxes under $1500.00.

Good thing about buying directly from HM is that you get a 12 year warranty for all chairs. So if my Sayl ever wears out, I’m covered. Just something to add.

@@HamsterLife_EnglishLearning Comfort is subjective but I can tell you that the seat for the Sayl is WAY more comfortable than the Aeron, however the ergos for the Aeron help correct your posture alot better, and in the long run, it works as a much better chair. The weird thing about these ergo chairs is that the seat is usually pretty firm and as comfortable as you'd think. At work, I use an Aeron in my office and a Sayl in my training room for employees, but use a Verus at home. FWIW - I'm 5'9 215lbs and the Aeron is a Size B. The Sayl provides more than ample seating area and the adjustability is pretty good, although I feel like it could have used some better lumbar support. I'd say that if you are coming from a standard office chair, the Sayl will be a night and day difference (in a good way) once you adjust it to your height/seating habits. It seems funny that Herman Miller would have a video about adjusting but it's actually really helpful.

I hate this chair, I can't believe I spent so much money on such a bad chair. My legs hurt after 30 minutes sitting, very small and poor quality, think twice before you buy it.

you cant say a chair is small if you don't say how big you are yourself. Without us knowing your size, you saying if the chair is big or small means absolutely nothing.
