Having only worn it twice I will say I am very impressed. All of my LV belts are four or more years old and they all still look amazing, and that's with regular wear. The Hermès strap doesn't feel quite as think, but that may not have any affect on the wear. I think you should ask me this questing a year from now. Unfortunately the glazing began to separate in three areas and I had to return it to Hermès. They refused to issue a refund or exchange, and insisted it be sent to Beverly Hills for repair. They've had it months and I haven't received any updates. Given the very poor service I've received during both the buying and service visits I had decided that Hermès is not the company or environment for me. Since then I have returned to Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Chanel.
