The Jardins ARE some of the best perfumes in history.. They smell so natural-- not like essential oils-- but like the emmisions of plants in thier natural environments. They smell like places, not perfumes. They are tenacious, but never cloying. Bravo, I agree with you!

I love the fact that you have a big bottle of Prada Infusion d'homme in the background. I had the 400ml bottle of Prada infusion d'iris and I just loved it!

i love the jardin collection, love jean claude ellena! my favourite (if not my favourite fragrance ever) is sur le nil, monsieur li is next in line. i adore them both.

Hi Darlene. I feel this line does not get enough love from the fragrance community. I love most of the Hermes Jardins. I’ve had all of them at one point or another and my fave is Sur Le Nil. I always keep a small bottle of it in my collection in case I miss it during the spring months. I’m definitely trying this after your review. If you end up getting a full bottle of this you’ll have to buy an orange lipstick to match the bottle. After all you have the red lippie to match the Mugler bottle 😆

Jardin sur le Toit is my favorite! I love it and it lasts too.

My favorite, not just in the Jardin line but in my entire collection, is Un Jardin en Mediterranee. It's the first and the most masculine in the line (but super unisex). Sur le Toit is next for me.

My favorite is also Monsieur Li . I've been through multiple bottles which rarely happens with fragrances. Looking forward to trying La Lagune .Thank you for the first impressions.

I just received the large bottle of this from my husband as a birthday gift. The only other fragrance from this house that I own is Twilly which I LOVE. So far I am liking un Jardin sur la Lagune but I agree it does not last. But keeping in mind it is an edt. That being said on me I smell citrus and something soft and slightly powdery. Not really smelling the magnolia which I wish I did bc I actually love the fragrance of real magnolia blooms. My husband can totally smell the magnolia which he says smells exactly like the magnolia blooms on our tree in our yard. I just realized that this smells just like Oscar De La Renta Espirt - almost exact!!! Espirt is slightly sweeter and Lagune is lighter. I am wearing one on each hand. Lagune already fading away which is sad being that it is very expensive. Espirt still strong but it is EDP. To my nose I like Espirt better. I remember someone reviewing it saying that if Chanel had put out Espirit it would have been a big deal bc it has a beautiful smell. I would agree. Espirit is what Lagune should be. It is the same except a little richer and way more staying power.

I picked up a sample of Sur La Lagune at my local Sephora today....I love it!

My favorite is Monsier de Li. It’s so light and refreshing. I need to try the new one. I usually love magnolia in fragrances.

There is a sharp note that I cannot figure out on the dry down. When I first sprayed it it seemed sweet, and then there is that sharp, synthetic scent. I need to wear it more to be sure it isn't a headache trigger for me. My bottle is small(30ml) and bottle itself and juice color are very pretty.

Un Jardin Sur Le Toit is very soothing and fresh, yet fruity. Not offensive, so that is good. This is why I ♥ it! I had it for a year but hardly ever used it so I gave it away to my aunt. She loved it too! Now, I am going to buy one but the largest fragrance bottle. I am a male and do go to the women's fragrance aisle at Boomingdales or Sephora to check out the testers and latest samples. Hermes Un Jardin Sur La Lagune sounds mysterious.

I love the Jardin line! My favorites are Sur le nil and Sur le toit, I layer them and get compliments all the time by men and women which is not why I love them but it does make me happy that others around enjoy it. The sillage is incredible bc people will ask me if I was in a certain area hours ago and I was! What I really like about it is I don’t like to offend people with my fragrance and so many have told me that fragrance usually bothers them but when I where these it doesn’t bother them. It may be my chemistry too so not sure but puts my mind at ease. Today I’m wearing a layer of Stella by SM and Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay. Enjoying your channel very much😊

To me this one is a floral aquatic. I’m loving it. While it is predominantly a skin scent, it lasts a good 8 plus hours.

sur le toit is my favorite, literally in my top three of all time. Imo its leaning feminine and its just so fruity and fun, but not in a generic sickly sweet designer perfume way. it makes me think of an enchanted garden with fairies flying around

This is the first of this collection by Christine Nagel and I was so interested to hear how it was similar or different than the other Un Jardin's. I cannot wait to try it! I've heard some very good things about it so far. My favorite Un Jardin is also Monsieur Li :) But I love them all. Actually I have many perfume loves from Hermes.

Someone informed me that pittosporum is also called “mock orange” - tiny flowers that smell like orange blossoms. Maybe that’s where the citrus notes you smell are coming from? I’m looking forward to trying this new release whenever it makes it to the U.S. ☺️

Samphire is a seaweed, so maybe thats where you get the sea notes x

This one does not surprise me like other ones in the Garden series, Its color reminds me of rotten bricks eroded by seawater soaked in Venice..Normally I feel white flowers +sea/water is 🤔emmmm...you know it...way too commercial.hope later it will change my mind...Just like The Mediterranean one, at first I listed it in the last position or the 4th from all 5 gardens, but after I travelled to Greece,Turkey,Iran... This Mediterranean Garden becomes my favorite.
