Idk. I just think slytherin’s locket is one of the most fascinating items in Harry Potter. The fact that it puts u in a shitty mood when u have it on. The unsettling ringing noise it makes when ur blood is boiling with anger. Love it. Plus gotta love Hermoine.

That's because Hermione started to act when the locket was affecting both Harry and Ron But the big difference is that she told Harry to take it off before it fully affects him and Ron doesn't listen to her since he wore it for so long that it fully affected him

I love it how when Harry yelled "You're not doing enough!", Hermione knows that it wasn't Harry talking but the Horcrux. She instantly asked for him to remove it because that's how much she cares.

She is which is exactly why I found it very annoying that she said “I thought it had stopped, you need to fight it Harry” in a very unthoughtful and very out of character manner when it extremely obvious how much Harry is haunted and despises and is grunting at it. Like Hermione is known to be very emotionally intelligent and this sounds like she’s very not.

@@tylersharp6275 don't think that's what it is. Occlumency was what Harry was doing to block out Voldemort from entering his mind. I believe in the books the locket focused on Ron here and not Harry because Ron was the one who was going kill the locket. Harry just opened it.

It was so that if they accidentally misplace it, or in the case that the bag was stolen. It was easier to have it on one of them so it wouldn’t get lost. For example, if they had to make a fast escape they wouldn’t have a lot of time to grab their things. So having the locket on one of them ensured that they would still have it. I hope that helped :)

In the books Harry is the one dreading "not doing enough", scared that ron & hermione will leave him because he cant make any progress. He fights with ron, but with hermione, he's super cautious, weighing every word... never snaps at her even when she breaks his wand, as he understands that she misses ron as well & is dipressed, knowing that she's way smarter & cleverer than him

It really is the movies fault. They gave Harry and Hermione lots of moments that weren't in the books. Then Downplayed lots of Ron's with Hermione. Harrys kiss with Ginny in front of Gryffindor was "stolen" by Ron and Lavender in the movies.

If Harry would’ve kept the locket on him it would’ve mutated his body and damage his mind. His mind would’ve been damaged so badly that he’d also get a second personality in his body, also would kill Ron and Hermione just to keep the locket and become so obsessed with it that he would even call it ‘my precious my love’.

Because there are certain ways to destroy Horcruxes. Basilisk Venom and Godric Gryffindor's sword. This was before they found the sword. Smape sent his patronus to find Harry and lead him to Godric's sword hiding in the woods.

Fiendfire too but it’s difficult to control and I think even Hermione hadn’t the confidence to pull that off. Or maybe she thought there wasn’t enough time to learn it and let’s not forget even when they knew they still needed to get one of these wich also takes it’s time. 😊
