Hermione was a true original talent, unfortunately in too few productions. I enjoy her tremendously in the few remaining snippets such as 'Bell Book and Candle'.

This episode aired in 1961. It's easy to discern that from the commercial about the new NBC series "87th Precinct", which made its debut on 9-25-1961.

Have you read her autobiography 'growing old disgracefully '. From what I recall having read it years ago she didn't have much to do with her children when they were growing up, hence not knowing their birth dates. Highly recommended. She was one classy and funny lady

In reading an obituary of Hermione Gingold I found that her sons both pre-deceased her, sadly!

It might be one of the last shows. I'm not sure of exact air date, but she talks about "The Music Man".

Her sons were born in the early to mid 1920s. I know that one of her sons died in the 1960s, sadly. I don't know about the other one...
