Herman’s Hermits overheard Eric Clapton telling this tidbit to Diane Sawyer. They climbed the netting at the Joe’s Crab Shack in which Ms. Sawyer interviewed Eric. This is how they stole his idea for ‘King Henry VIII’.

King Henry VIII was actually the first hermit crab. The translations from Æuquatic Ænglish to the Modern Terrestrial dialects were corrupted by differences in atmospheric pressure leaving “crab” to become “king” as “shells” to become “wives”.
