Nobody is talking about the “lumber axe” he was taking about but what if instead they made it an enchantment. You could call it “Lumbering” and have 3 levels, level 1 could take down small trees like small oak and birch, then level 2 could be mid sized trees, then level 3 could be all “huge” trees. Then it also wouldn’t work with mending so that you would have to naturally repair it and not with xp Edit: it would also only work on naturally spawned or bone-mealed trees.

You should make some floating rings filled with water in the air, so you can kinda fly (as long as you don't miss)

3:20 in terms of implementation, minecraft would have to keep a table of known trees that increases with every sapling grown, and decreases with every tree chopped at least once. As for where to find the axe, i think the woodland mansion is an excellent choice, but they could definitely go the route of having additional woodland monuments

Cool EGG Game Plan: I thought about it a lot the other day. I think that a really cool game plan for the egg game is this: Make a big room and in the middle of it, place the egg behind glass with a piston below one of the surrounding glasses. Then, around 20 blocks out from the glass, make a circle with the egg in the middle and place pressure plates on the edge (Kinda like hungergames). For example 10 pressure plates in total. With the red stone under the floor make it so that the piston will only retrect or push the glass away when all the pressure plates are on. Meaning you need for this example 10 different hermets in order to receive the egg. What makes this so fun in my opinion is that it is so psychological. It is a psychological. Who will take the lead and gather all the hermits in order to pull it off. Who will remain at the pressure plates once the egg is accesable and who will betray their deal and go for the egg aswell? Of course you can do this with any amount of pressure plates. Also a nice feature would be that you make like a little very easy parkour to the room, so hermit can't cheat by bringing only them selves and a bunch of cows for example on leads. So the pressure plates can only get activates by hermits and not animals, therefor the little very easy parkour. What do you think?

You should build your shops for this season in the sky, in the form of hot air balloons, zeppelins, and other flying things. They could be interconnected via bridges and/or launchers, and possibly connected to the base high up in the mountains as well. Or, you could simply drop the items down below, almost like a delivery drone!

3:00 Mojang wouldn't add something like that- there's a specific tenant in the Minecraft design document thing that Jeb revealed part of (and some other employees revealed parts of on Discord) that says that a player can only interact with one block at a time to create one effect at a time. They can only place, destroy, or activate a single block. It can start a chain reaction, like redstone, or gravity affected blocks falling down, but it has to work within that limitation. Specifically, they said that's why things like 3x3 mining tools or tree-felling axes can't be integrated into vanilla Minecraft. Keyword Vanilla, but, mods can do anything.

Fun fact! The Caves and Cliffs updates main goal was to try to give purpose to diorite! Calcite is meant to help it look somewhat fitting in some builds and it can also be replaced moss (which is a more environmentally friendly way of destroying diorite)! Another fact (this one not so fun) is that you can craft diorite using cobblestone and Quartz. Even if you don’t think diorite is that bad of a block (not that I do) we can all agree it would be a shame to waste quartz to make what is a pretty common block.
