Hermitcraft season 8 episode 16! We start out Ep 16 of Hermitcraft S8 by sneaking the Swaggon into Grian's cave base to hopefully make some diamonds. This new Swaggon business idea proves to be successful and we will find other Hermits in the future to target. We take possession of a special delivery for the Boatem crew today at the Swaggon HQ. The special delivery is custom hats for Mumbo, Pearl, and Grain. This will give all of Boatem custom hats like me and Impulse.
I really hope you like the new build in our megabase and the hats. Hopefully next episode we can give Mumbo his hat! It's my favorite one. See you in the next Hermitcraft episode!

Of all the hermits, I think Scar's videos have the best replay value. Maybe it's the editing and pacing, and certainly the shenanigans are always quality, but there's some elusive quality that your videos have that others don't. I'm loving how the mountain base is turning out and that Swaggon HQ is totally badass. Thanks for the great videos! 👍

Getting caught up on your videos this morning with some coffee and, as usual, you build blows me away. I love the story you're telling with the Swaggon this season - even if there are some _darker_ undertones to it with all these "abandoned" buildings that are being -taken over- "repurposed". As for the hats, I think I have to give a _slight_ edge to Pearl's because of the uniqueness to it. Looking forward to checking her video out for her song! As for the intro, I give it a solid 9.5. Too much splash for a perfect score ;P In all seriousness, these unorthodox intros always make for a good laugh!

I love the fact that Scar goes for different kinds of payment other than just currency. I've done the same thing to my friends too! Back when I worked at Universal Orlando, in the Harry Potter area, every day I would carry a snowy owl bag with me to work. Often times guests would pose with me for pictures because I treated it like a real owl. Then one time, I helped out a fellow team member and they promised to pay me back... I made their payment be, to carry my snowy owl bag around and pose for pics the same way. It was sooooo glorious! 😁😁😁 And of course, it also inspired my name. 🦉

The hats are all amazing but I really want to see Mumbo's hat. I think that there was a tiny glimpse of one in the custom crates and if that hat is what I think it is, then that'll be my favorite hat. Pearl's hat is my favorite in terms of theme and adorableness but Grian's hat is so perfectly customized for his face... It's too hard to pick a "best" hat when they're all so amazing.

I fell like for impulse, it’s should definitely be a hat made out of candy with a giant “I” on the front. For mumbo, maybe a black top hat with flowers surround the base and an end crystal hovering over the top to represent his “peace love and plants” and the end crystal game

I love how the swagon is scars starter base, and the mountains he's working on are his mega base. the amount of detail in any and all of scars builds is absolutely crazy. great job scar! :)

The amount of detail and story he puts into each shop is crazy. He thinks like ten steps ahead of everyone and I love watching and seeing something new, even if it's just tiny details like the fallen street lamp it is amazing.

This custom item mod has been the best addition to hermitcraft ever. I love how creative the hermits are getting with custom, hats, coins and even tree pranks.

I don't really like it. It has began to feel like modded MC rather than the completely normal vanilla game which is the reason I love HC for, although it doesn't really affect the gameplay it just affects the appearance. But the pranks are cool. ;(
