Coral collecting life hacks: - Mining the little things with a silk touch axe or shovel makes it easier, you won't accidently mine the coral with potential more little things on it and you can just hold left click. - Setting up a beacon is worth your time, you can insta mine coral which makes it much quicker and much more fun as with stone. - Seeing the hitbox (with f3+b makes it easier to collect all the coral at the top of the water. - Sub to Cub.

Another good idea for the map room is to put maps of different communities on the continent. For example you could have a map of Boatem, the Big eyes, and... some other place that looks incredible. Another thing you could try is to put a dolphin in the "blue hole", or something other than just clumping schools of fish lol.

You could build a "shop" that sells iron ingots in exchange for raw iron

I think doing what grian did last season is fun with the maps. Instead of updating the maps you could make new maps and put them on the other walls so you can see your base evolving throughout the season

Each wall in the cavern can be a different type of fish tank. One for Glow Squid with a dark backdrop, one for Axolotls, and maybe one for turtles/dolphins

I love how you have a firework go off when you finish mining the rooted dirt. Have you thought about adding quartz block for the rocket to hit?

Cub, I totally would put strategically placed TNT Despensers under the rooted dirt platform that trigger when the system is full, even if it doesn't break every last bit it will make collection way easier...and the system full indicator unmistakable But that is not to say anything bad. This machine is awesome!!!!

For the map room side alcoves, use them to make some custom paintings showing of fan art? It's a little work to make the resource pack but I'm sure you have enough fan art so you can switch them out once in a while and show of the talants of your fans.

I was just thinking I wanted to make a rooted dirt farm and then you make one. It looks simple enough. I like how that farm room looks. You can put an observer watching the leaves of the azalea tree to output a signal when the tree grows so you can auto push it with the pistons instead of having a button to manually do that.

good thing about making a root farm, you'll get a lot of oak wood out of it. Some have posted more than in the large oak trees, but I haven't tested that yet

Is there a way you could replace the block under the bonemeal dispenser with an observer, and every 2 pulses (one for block placed, one for block converted) trigger the top piston only, which would take care of pesky carpets that appear? Alternatively, maybe you can leave the top piston extended while trying to convert to moss which I assume would prevent azaleas/carpets/grass growing in the first place.

For the walls with the paintings, you should put updated versions of the map. That way you can look back on your progress as the season passes

Cool video as always! I have a suggestion on how to further automate the rooted dirt farm. You could use a stone generator at piston-push-limit distance to supply the lower block. And by simply firing the two pistons on a timer, you could make the azalea generation automatic. If the lower block is still moss, it will just break once the pistons reach push-limit. So the farm can just run on its own and once you hear the rocket go off you go harvest.

It’s been a while so I may be misremembering but in WoW there’s an area in the Outlands called Blade’s Edge Mountains. That’s what I always think of when I see your canyon. I think googling some pictures from that area may be inspiring for some things to build if you’re ever looking for ideas.

Have you considered putting the four most recent maps in the map room. It would show progression and you could rotate out the oldest as you go!
