Admittedly, when this started off I thought you wanted to build a "goat" farm, which confused me immensely. I became further confused when the quest for goats took you into the nether, leaving me asking "what in fresh hell is happening?" It was only soon after that I figured out its a GOLD farm, not a goat farm

Iskall does have a slightly unusual accent. It's not quite the typical Swedish accent, but I think his Swedishness does kinda soften his pronunciation occasionally.

When Iskall mentioned Stress sent him the message "We're going to build a gold farm," I had flashbacks to Gem's signs about Impulse and redstone. What a fun episode! I like the idea of your amethyst farm being submerged in water. I would have had to add some sea lanterns myself.

Weird suggestion: make a pickaxe without efficiency for mining the crystals. It is slower, but much much safer since there's little chance of mining the source blocks

I suggest getting a non-efficiency pick for the geode so you have more room to not accidentally break the budding amethysts

Or to really make sure but this suggestion will be "cringe" , you use a stone pick with fortune, unbreaking, and mending so that way you only be breaking amethysts and you have to really be lazy to break the budding amethyst blocks.

You should totally design the storage room outside the amethyst farm to look like an airlock on a spaceship. Maybe use marble or iron blocks or something.

You have a slime farm (that works). Your mustached friend has a slime farm that does not work. You should put slime balls in his chests to make him think his is working. lol. Alternatively, I know Iskallman is trying to do good deeds for everyone on the server. I believe Scar has not been able to find a jelly cat yet. Wink* wink*.

The amethyst farm looks like a biome from Subnautica. Absolutely amazing! If you have played it, you could design your entrance area like a sea habitat. I would love that :D

Amethyst crystals are a light source too (not a great one, but one none the less) so it always looks good in the dark! I LOVE IT!

23:34 Iskall: It seems to me that it is the smartest way to access all of- [breaks Amethyst Bud by accident] Now, that's one way to farm for Amethyst Clusters, but, *big yikes* Also, the water room for a Geode never occurred to me before. That is actually a smart way to farm for Amethyst! I just make stone platforms.

Use a silk axe, it will collect the clusters a bit slower, but less likely to break the budding block if you miss-click XD

@@phuntis you cannot collect budding amethyst by any means in vanilla…. I was saying to use a silk-touch axe instead of a Pick to harvest the clusters from the budding blocks. That way, you are less likely to accidentally break a budding block. Since an axe takes about 2 seconds to mine an amethyst clusters vs a pick that takes less than half a second (and instant if near a haste-2 beacon). …Then you can store the clusters (most compact) until you need the shards, and that’s when you mine them with the Fortune III pick. 🤓👍🏻

128 plus a bit should be good. Not sure if they quite went the "bit" though (to account for the width of the farm, it should be 128 at the closest edge, not the middle).

The gold farm is looking might Fine. :P I love the idea with the black concrete, looks amazing! My recommendation, get another pickaxe without Efficiency on it so you can't insta-mine the buds. Could even keep it on an item frame near the farm.

I had the same issue with magma cubes spawning, to fix it I just made it 2 blocks in between the glass instead of 3

23:42 Maybe have a dedicated pick specifically for harvesting amethyst so that won’t happen again? You could just put Fortune, Mending, and Unbreaking III on it, since with Efficiency V it’s really easy to accidentally mine those (as evidenced by what happened just before the timestamp). That’s what I do whenever I have an amethyst farm, anyway.

22:00 Iskall, do a water collection system up top to sweep up those items when you break them since they float, it'll make it so much easier so you don't even have to worry about swimming to collect them. Only backdraw to it is the parts that might get in the way of the floating, but you also can manually collect them too.

With gold farms - You need to build them in Nether Wastes OR Crimson Forests! The Wastes are the best though. I also love that all the other hermits watch the world eater from a safe distance, or fly through it. Iskall is like "DOC CAN I GO DOWN THERE AND BE SAFE" and Doc says his usual "probably?" and Iskall is like "SIGN ME UP GOAT MAN"

The already built farm is Doc's and it is currently not working because of the nether hub. Also the breaking amethyst part was SOOO satisfying to listen to. Such a gorgeous sound!

I feel like an absolute noob. I never considered flooding the amethyst geode to make it easier to harvest. I just have scaffolding and platforms all over lol. Time to redo my stuff :D

A dare idea I had was for Mumbo to make an entire video without using words No speaking or text No use of narration by other hermits/people Just grunts, gestures, and possibly pictures he draws He can interact with hermits that use words, but he can’t be speaking or typing words when he interacts with them on camera
