Hermitcraft season 9 episode 12! We start out big with our Minecraft let's play ep 12 on the Hermitcraft 9 server with a massive starter treehouse base. The design of the survival base will be elven-themed. Once we complete the treehouse, I'll build my dream Minecraft build.
Today's episode starts out adding my head to the Ravager and we team up with Grain and Pearl to win the diamond block pillar / tower to world height challenge. Also, I start on my first mega shop build. The new Hermitcraft shop is a Redstone shop built in an old historic Parisian-designed building. We will finish the interior and open the shop in the next episode! Hope you are excited about my mega base reveal soon!

So what we learned from this episode is that: 1. Do not stack up ores of any kind because people will join in and eventually turn into a race to the build height 2. Any small fun challenge will turn into chaos in a matter of seconds 3. Back of buildings are meant to be bland and 4. Anything can happen in Hermitcraft

I do love how you, Grian, and by extension Mumbo have just adopted Pearl into the head empty chaos team side of hermit craft. Her completely consumed by those cookies at 20:20 had me rolling. You're over here still trying to win and Pearl's just in her own world like 'that's a good cookie'.

I love how these events come out of absolutely nowhere, involve at least a group of people and turn out to be a big fun story. I mean the Mycelium Wars back in season 7 lasted for like half a season, involved most of the server and gave us so much fun and it all started because Grian put a few mycelium blocks on the shopping island.

Might want to let Impulse know that you accidentaly destroyed his "cushion" at the bottom of his elevator lol (there was a powdered snow block with a carpet on top of it at the bottom of the magic elevator to cancel fall damage, that got destroyed by the water when you hit the honey block) The conclusion to the Diamond Pillar race was unexpected but absolutely perfect, GG loll

I enjoyed the interactions with Pearl, Grian, Impulse, Cub and Doc much more than simply the pillar battle ending. (I would actually like to see Doc place *ALL* his blocks before taking it down.) Y'all should go on a shopping spree after tearing everything down. :)

Today's episode made me come to a realization, that once a week you guys should have a day where instead of working on personal projects, whoever is online that day should all just get together and do random things. Watching one after another come to spawn and start shooting bows, messing with each other. Really brightened up my day and gave a whole fun good vibe to the episode.

Lots of people don’t even join up and do that. Such as BDUBS and SCAR.. the ones I actually watch. What I was asking is just for them to mess around, no objective other than to have some fun.

That conclusion to the Diamond race was phenomenal. The fact that everyone was literally fighting trying to stop you guys from teaming was awesome. And you have gotten so good at that bow. It’s only magic cause of how good you got it just passed to the bow. Amazing episode as always and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

i love how, every season, scar makes a big starter base in the first episode and then expands on it and makes it more and more amazing for the majority of the season's start. Like the under water davy jones locker type place in season 6, magical creature village in season 7, swaggon in season 8, and now the big elven village. Awesome!

The season 7 district was smaller i believe, but it was too small because eventuelly they started building shops in the ocean and not in the mushroom island

I say make the red stone dust a sign and prop it up vertically on stilts. This will make it look like a classic Parisian manor renovated into a shop.

Scar, idk if theres already someone selling books on the server, but if there isn't, you should make a gothic/victorian style library and have it as a book store. You're such an amazing builder I feel like you would absolutely nail that. It would definitely be a different block pallete, with use of like dark oak wood, blackstone, deepslate, some sort of deep red accents, but I feel like you have such amazing architectural skills that you would make that look stunning.

I think the most Epic shot was Scar Shooting Doc out of the sky... it was so well deliverd, But that chaotic pillarbattle just was completely amazing fun. And especially funny, in the conclusion, that the original starter of that pillow.. pillar war, Scar and Grian, finally worked and won together with Pearl. Well, i would say: everyone won! We had alla good laugh. Thanks for entertaining so much!

I find it funny how Scar and Grian are so into the competition. As if Docm didn't mine a whole 64 chunk by 64 chunk. He even has chests of diamonds on reserve. Grian thinks first to build height wins, Docm could have done with a 4 by 4 tower.

Oh my gosh that was such a fun episode. I was in stitches laughing at the diamond pillar fight! I audibly screamed "YES" when Scar blew up the TNT cannon. To Scar on his Redstone shop: Dude you should turn the piece of redstone on the roof into a skylight and use glass instead of wool! False did that with her bean shop and it looks so dope when inside. Your Parisian shop is really well done, but that would be the one thing I really suggest doing with it!
