I have a feeling this is something everyone feels (and probably comments) but as someone who can't always watch everyone this channel is a life saver for me. And the extra personality you add to your videos is always great, hopefully it doesn't cause a personality overload since this *is* Hermitcraft we're talking about.

At this point I think it's becoming increasingly clear that the entire "richest hermit" song-and-dance is, more than anything else, a way of providing Grian with enrichment.

My take on mumbo's vault? He will use what few diamonds he gets to buy or build. He will designate some other item as his most precious valuable, priceless and worth more than all the diamonds in the world. He has no intention of grinding this season, but he's having a good laugh. So are we. And that's the richest thing of all.

They should make temporary closed-off tunnels for all the people with the low framerate (because the particle effect should disappear when you don't see them, right?). Plus, as an interesting design, you can expand the temporary and void together into some very cool emergent design. Like, as the tunnel people build new tunnels to new places, or beautify their own tunnels; the tunnels grow and spread through the void design, regardless of how he builds it

I think I love Mumbo's dedication to the long con the best of everything this season. Who knows, with Grian paying 5 diamond blocks every 2 weeks to try to break in, Mumbo may actually end up being quite wealthy by the end.

Correction: mp4 is a container format, not a compression algorithm The compression algorithm in question is probably H.264. Though if he uses GPU encoding for recording, he may also be dealing with the H.265 compression algorithm. And the video is also served on youtube using the VP9 compression algorithm and the AV1 compression algorithm. Regardless, recompression stacking is really taking a toll on the quality. The footage is probably recorded with loss. After editing, the video is probably exported with loss. After upload, KZfaq recompresses causing more loss. You then retreive the video (which can be done without loss.) You then edit this video, and probably export it with loss. And then you upload it, and KZfaq recompresses causing even more loss.
