Feed the fox berries. He will be your friend. But he will pick up your stuff and carry it around. But he will drip it for food. Berries and chicken. They will pick berries for themselves, and they will farm them for you. The bushes do not hurt them.

Feeding foxes berries doesn't tame them, you can, however, breed two wild foxes together and the baby will not be scared of the player, it will still not be tamed though (it won't follow the player or sit or anything that pets do). The thing you said about foxes picking up items is true, if they pick up a lead or something you want back, you can drop them a piece of chicken or some berries and since they prioritize food over items, they drop the item.

I think Impulse KNEW that creeper was there. lol. It was at least visible for a split second before hiding behind the horse. Look at the bright side, Gluestick shielded most of that damage for you, leaving you with half a heart. 7:00 - Learn something new every day! We had a similar thing happen on our server with a pig that out chat named "Switchblade", I was on one day getting some stuff together so we could build something on stream and noticed that he was no longer wandering around the village.
