X, that type of crop farm works for most crops, but not wheat. Farmers turn wheat into bread before giving it to other villagers. But if you fill their inventory with seeds they won't be able to pick up the wheat and a hopper minecart will be able to grab it all. And since you won't need that second villager for that kind of farm, you can put him to work gathering wheat as well.

I liked what Tango did last season for displaying custom items - sea lanters with invisible item frames. It looks like a custom item frame and gives off a nice glow

I am a little bit concern about the amount of item frames in the room for all the hermits. Here is an idea, put the thropis ranks on the bottom (x axis) and just move up the hermit heads to the highest rank they owned. Also it has a nice benefit that it looks like a race to the finish line.

Also, minecarts won't go in boats, but boats can go in minecarts which is a great alternative to furnace minecarts. Lastly, the villagers wouldn't go up on land because the rails are considered full blocks to mobs. Great vid, man!

If you want to add a 'third place' to the tiering (rule of three and all), either an emerald block or a copper block could work! Copper looks like bronze, the traditional 'third place', but considering gold is second and diamond is first, emerald might be more in the minecraft-y spirit!

I'm really enjoying season X, it has a lot of the charm of old minecraft, but sort of elevated by the features of new minecraft. And its so good the Hermits are so close together this season.

You could build pillars of snow like Tango did with Decked Out 2; each layer of snow could be ten diamonds' worth of sales, and when they get enough for a trophy you can attach an item frame and the trophy to their specific pillar.

xisuma you should make contracts with the post office for stamps and mumbo for item frames so you can do the sales trophy store more efficiently

So you put the trophies on the left (or wherever else you'd like) and then use redstone lamps to going up to highlight how much diamonds made every hermit has reached? I hope this helps :)

Hi xisumaviod brilliant videos and at 2:06 the rainbow wool pattern on top of your sales shop. Reminds me of that button game on top of the nether. In one of the hermitcraft worlds.

When I first saw that leaderboard room, I thought you were gonna stack up blocks to show how far hermits were, like a bar graph! You could put hermit heads along the bottom and whatever trophy they're at on the top of the blocks.

Instead of using a wall of item frames, I wonder if it would be more visually interesting if you just pillared up the blocks with their head on top as they make more sales, like a graph. Could still use some of the flat trophies to show the levels on the side/be on the topmost block as an indicator, but I think having the blocks grow with time with the hermit heads on top would look really dynamic.

If the sales leaderboard is a long-term thing, it could double as a historical tracker: keep the hermits on the x axis, levels/trophies on y, and in each cell, put a sign recording the date the milestone/trophy was achieved! Glow+Colouring the signs adds a few possibilities to decorate or highlight data; I'm thinking colouring each sign by their month, rotating through the colour wheel over time (and if this lasts years, maybe rotate the signs wood type). It might create a nice gradient and a cool representation of sales over time at a glance! One more idea: the background blocks on each line could be a different wood type (planks and stripped), creating visual lines attached to the trophies on the axis (on both sides?). Could be a gentle vertical gradient, or lines only for major milestones, or wood types matching each trophy's colour; though that last one could make things too busy visually with all the other colours.

16:20 This looks a lot like a movie theater, so I have a suggestion. Lean into the movie theater vibe! Call it the theater board! And, add some like, projectors, maybe popcorn bits, maybe some chairs, you never know! Could work. :)

An idea for the leaderboards, you could do what Tango did for Decked Out and have snow layers with each layer representing x amount of diamonds. Then you could put the trophies in front of the snow perhaps.

Hey Xisuma! I think you could get some inspiration from the MCC Leaderboard Room, I think that's a great and neat way to display each hermit Something I like about the MCC Room is how open it is, the room itself isnt that big but the windows and open spaces make the "Bar Chart" look much grander

You need to put a full block on top of the composter, then an "umbrella" of trapdoors around the top of the full block. That way, the farmer will be able to see the composter and keep the job (would be good to lock his trade, jic), but he won't be able to compost the wheat or seeds. That's how I did it and it works for me.

Maybe you should've told Etho you send the missing Mail from your base and not from your sales office (maybe you did off video though)

One suggestion for the leaderboard: Make a sort of grid where you have the hermits at the bottom and the trophies at the left, and the rest is just redstone lamps which get turned on whenever a hermit achieves a trophy!

You’ve probably worked it out by now, but you need to add trap doors to stop the farmer from reaching the compost. Otherwise he’ll compost all the wheat which is what he’s been doing. Also you don’t need a hopper mine card you can actually just use a fence post and have a hopper underneath it, and that works just as well that it was brought by good old logical, geek boy

7:30 I wonder if the stamp problem could be solved by creating District stamps. 1 for the shopping district, and 1 for the government district (Grian should be happy to share a mailbox, as long as you sort permit office mail into a bin for him!)?

Regarding the leaderboard, (gonna use some database terms here) instead of using the hermit heads as key, use the trophy instead. Place each type of trophy on the floor and place the hermit heads above it. They r placed based on their highest trophy (weekly update?)

X! Reverse the order of items in your leaderboard. What I mean is: put the trophies on the iron blocks instead, and the hermits' heads in the item frames :D

You could make the trophy tracking room look like a giant glass cabinet along the wall. Or literally make a giant exponential bar chart on the wall, trophy variants along the x axis, and the hermits heads tracking the y axis :) use cyan wool in the bars to represent the diamonds used etc.

For the display wall: Do not use too many item frames; place the item frames on the left, (maybe right, and center sides aswell), and fill in, as if filling in a table in Excel, with blocks the current status for each participating hermit. Hermits in the sales leaderboard could be separated in diffirent faction(like neighborhood and magical mountain and such) and got their own first, second and third place. So that could be a competition within them and maybe to get some hermits have a reason to gather or have some chats in the leaderboard room.

maybe to the sides of the leaderboard room you could add some pedestals to put statues of the first hermits to reach 1000 diamonds and 10thousand diamonds, or maybe 5000 and 10000, just to add some decorations and as points from which you could extend some patterns/decorations on the floors/walls

For your leaderboard room, I think it would be fun to put the player heads on armor stands then use different armor to show their placement. You could do a lot with leather and trims plus use iron, gold and diamond for your top players. You can adjust the stands with different poses to help create some life to the room. Really enjoy your ideas and wholesome personally. Always a joy to watch. 💕

It would be cool for the leaderboards gallery to have a unique armorstamd for each hermit, with their heads, different poses, diferent armors… showing their highest trophy and maybe with a nod to their diamond permit (Doc’s armorstand is carrying a lot of wood, grians is making primsmarine etc

Glow item frames could also be cool to literally highlight the leaders, not sure what the desired lighting is though

Hey xisuma, I think it could be really interesting if you put some of the diamonds you earn from people buying trophies to use as an incentive. The top three or five people with the highest trophies at the end of the set time splits those diamonds, with 1st place getting the most and so on down the line. (This can incentivize the purchase of your trophies as well) Maybe also give out mega-seller trophies for the people who have won so they can show them off in their shops, and act like a verified xisuma stamp of recommendation for that shop. Or, set one item that everyone can sell, and have a competition to see who can sell it the most, then have those same rewards, to add a bit more fairness and competition. That's all! Great way to start the day

I think you need a vertically oriented texture (vertical stripes) behind the leaderboard to highlight the alignment of the item frames and trophies

Fill your villager with seeds and plant your wheat fields before cutting them loose in the farm. For collection in my wheat fields I love Allay. Two can work 4 plots with a central pickup. One does seeds for recycling, one picks up wheat. And for more visual fun and boosted production, add a beehive for each plot.

i think something could be done with armor stands as a way to represent each individual hermit. would add some visual weight to that aspect and allow for some variety with the poses.

I think the mail system can also be used as bank. Place one at the shopping district and make yourself a bank hahaha

So quick thing that might be kind of cool... The new trophies that are made to be in item frames look a lot like ribbons. So if you were put the item model on a chestplate that might be quite fun =p

Sadly the wheat farms require that the villagers inventory be full of seeds then you have to hopper minecart pick up the wheat which will stay on the ground because the villagers inventory is full of seeds. If their inventory isn't full of seeds they will pick up the wheat and convert it into bread and then share the bread. Which if that's what you are going for then great!

an idea i had is at the end of the season the person with the most diamonds made can get a perk in the next season or a irl reward or some sort.

You could make a shelf with horizontal item frames to display the 3D trophies.

Maybe a big framed plaque as a backdrop is what the hermit trophies leaderboard is missing.

Hey X! For the leaderboard, what about using some other block besides iron for the base, and then using gold, iron, and waxed unoxidized copper blocks to show first, second, and third respectively? They'd be like gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Olympics.

For the leader board, perhaps instead of iron, gold and diamond blocks with heads on top, you could use armor stands. With player heads and armor with differing colors to represent positioning. Leather for third and below, gold for second place, diamond for first. Or iron for third and below and leather for those who have signed up as it'll blend into the wood tones and might be an incentive for people to join if they see their heads??

I think it would be cool if a copper bulb turned on behind the trophies that the hermits received.

As an option for the wheat farm, perhaps an allay + villagers (+ bees possibly) based farm would work? An allay can pick up items quite quick and if you give it wheat as it's pick-up item it won't pick up the seeds (leaving those for the villager), but should pick up at least some of the wheat. Additionally, if you'd want to add them, bees can be added into the setup to sometimes progress the growing stages of the wheat faster.

You should make a giant fancy billboard maybe at the shop showcasing first place
