Sir my father is going to have surgery.. which mesh should be used for right inguinal complete hernia.. surgeon said he will use non absorbable .. i dont know what type of mesh is that and why he is not using absorbable.. could u suggest anything so i will ask him

Hi .. for inguinal hernia surgery , ideal mesh is non absorbable only … so that it won’t degrade and gives long tensile strength to posterior abdominal wall muscles
