I saw this as it happened. I wanted to walk away because I didn't want to see someone die. and then this crazy dude jumped up on the lift line and cut him down.

As someone who used be a lift operator, the operator should have hit the emergency stop the second the unboarding didn't go smoothly. Why is the operator letting the guy get so far past the drop-off before stopping the lift?
