Hero Xpulse 200 4V is a 199.6 air and oil-cooled single-cylinder bike that has been revised. It now has a 4-valve overhead configuration instead of the previous model's 2-valve setup.

This has resulted in 19.1PS and 17.35Nm, a 1.02PS and 0.9Nm increase over the previous model. While this may not appear to be much, Hero MotoCorp has improved the transmission and reworked the gear ratios for better acceleration. The oil-cooler has also been updated to keep the engine running at peak performance.The XPulse 200 4V retains the 5-speed transmission, but the gear ratios have been adjusted for better acceleration. To keep the motor running at an optimal temperature, the Hero XPulse 200 4V employs a new 7 fin oil cooler.
Hero MotoCorp also sells the XPulse 200 Rally Kit. The new kit is available at select Hero dealerships for Rs 46,000. The kit includes fully adjustable longer travel suspension, rally-spec tyres from Maxxis, a flatter seat, and handlebar risers.Aside from that, the bike appears to be mostly unaltered, owing to the fact that it was already in good shape in every other way. It will still have 21-/18-inch (F/R) spoke wheels, LED lighting, a gaited telescopic fork, single-channel ABS, and a digital LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity.
