This game is still amazing even after 7 years! some say that the graphics are crap etc. but I think they are completly fine. I think the newer and better graphics dont fit the game, Look at "Risen" for example, the graphics are bad but they are still good in a certain way. I hope I wrote that understandable? ^^sry for language mistakes ;)

graphics in Heroes 5 work in similar way to warcraft, overexaggerated and more cartoonish models. And they age really well, because they don't rely on perfect similarity with real ones. Same reason graphics in Heroes 3 aged well, tho in 3rd heroes they were hand sprited for each model so it is even better.

yes... the town screen on 5 was redundant, but had a nice touch... it helped me to immerse in the game, seeing your town growing at full scale... it's one of those redundant features that I miss, and one that actually helps in making the HoMM5 better than 6...

@@darkdill She did but she never meant to. She missed Nicolai because she loved him and also she wanted to save the Empire. She was't careful enough, still freshly grieving over his death and wanting to kill Agrael she let Markal manipulate her but not because she was evil. She was rather naive although at the beginning she was suspicious over Markal i think in the end she just wanted to get her husband back and she wasn't aware of the fact that the Empire can survive without him being alive besides not everyone wanted her to become a Queen anyway so we can just imagine that some would probably stand against her if she were to have a proper coronation. Isabel isn't a bad character just rather heavily driven by her emotions therefore making mistakes and causing problems (even when her intentions were good)

Heroes 6 was a really sad game. Ubi took some Russian game studio who've been fanatically obsessed with the series since H2, gave them the opportunity to make H6, and then screwed them over royally. Town screens? Multiple resources? Functional gameplay? More factions? These are all things they wanted to include, but that got cut out by the publishers due to time and budget constraints. Really sad.

I had never as much Fun again with a "Heroes Game" as with the Third Game of the Series, of Might and Magic Three! And please take a Guess now which Game i didn't buy from Heroes Three up to Six... ... Yes, the Sixth Game. Because i heard how much the Developers ruined the City Layout, the Units, the Gameplay ... The last Game can have as nice Graphics as it wants - i will never buy it! Because my Heart lies with what made Heroes Three so great. The fifth Game was the best after the Third.

The 4th Game if awesome as well.The music is brilliant,maybe the best.The graphic is beautiful and I don't care what others say the gameplay is excellent too.You can roam without units,with your heroes and defeat large armies without the aid of creatures.I think it was a splendid alteration.I also like the 3rd and 5th game but in my opinion the 4th isn't inferior to them.

It really is not that bad. They fixed the city layout, the units are not bad they are pretty cool. I dislike the music the gameplay is good though. Im happy I gave it a try. Allthough theres one reason why I could regret my decision and what almost ruins the game. You have to be connected to the conflux (their server) to be able to play. Solo campaign as well. I have had it three times allready that I need to replay a whole campaign level only because of connection loss...

No need to have smartass comments on a platform of entertainment. Wanted to say that for a long time but kind of forgot. We are not writing college papers here, I am pointing out severe grammar problems that literally should not be used in the English language. My comment was perfectly fine on a medium style level.
