The staged enemy deck makes so much sense! I also like the variety in characters, so you can have multiple healers with slightly different abilities.

@@OneStopCoopShop Deep Madness was ok. Components were top notch. Minis were gorgeous. The flavor text on the cards was extensive and rich. However, the theme does not grab me. Overall, the game is an improved version of Zombicide. Did you get your copy of 1066: Tears for Mothers? The crossbowman on the cover grabs your attention. 1066 will have amazing artwork.

I get you on the theme that is why I had the publishers send that one to Mike. Not my thing at all. I do have a copy of 106! Excited to give it a shot and I LOVE LOVE the artwork as well!

Yeehar! Been looking forward to this ma man. I got WACG 2 christmas' ago and its genius however as i was late to the party i couldnt source any of the addon heroes and obv there was no supported content. I didnt know this game was coming until i watched ur top 20 solo games a couple of weeks ago and god knows how this slipped past me. On this years christmas list now for the misses to get me 😁 Looking forward to the playthough Colin 😉

Nice! I think i prefer the art style of Warhammer ACG, but still excited by this. Hopefully this time the game will live long enough to see some interesting expansion content!

Yay! Colin's back with a non LotR playthrough! Just picked this up today myself. FYI, I'm pretty sure the exploration deck should all be shuffled together, not in the order you stated in the video.

Hi Colin! I recently commented on your top solo games regarind Mistfall! How do you compare that to this game? I feel I might find this to "simple"? Not sure they can be compared to each other straight off but they do seem to share some properties. Thanks again for some awesome videos!

Thanks for watching Henrik! And yes they do share a lot of qualities, Mistfall it just substantially more complex. Good or bad just depends on what you are looking for. This game takes an hour to play, Mistfall is at least 2! Both are great Fantasy games though so you can't go wrong with either!

Question on the Exploration Deck. Are you sure it is Base on top, then Wild, then Village? As the way the picture looked, it was just those 3, but all fully mixed together... as FFG hasn't published the rules on their site yet, I couldn't look it up, but I saw on another video where they mixed it all up. So I'm not sure who's right here.

I have never played Warhammer quest, but I've been looking forward to your playthrough of this game for a while. I enjoyed you playthrough of Adventuria Card game (which I also do not yet own) and am looking forward to comparing it to this. I tried playing Pathfinder adventure card game, but just couldn't get into it. I'm hoping Terrinoth is finally the card game for me. I hear this should be a great solo game, but it looks like it would be a fun 2 player co-op game also, correct?

Oh nice! Aventuria is a great game!! This one I think you will get into more than Pathfinder, it is less. . mechanical. Or less time spent trying to find 4 D10 and 3D8 +2 +1 overall minus 3 from some effect etc. hahaha! This is streamlined and you can just enjoy yourself!

Since there are 3 characters per archetype are you able to double up on one archetype, like go two healers? or only max 1 per archetype? i ordered the game just waiting for my copy to arrive. Keep up the good work :)

GREAT question! The answer is no. You only have 1 set of basic activation cards per class. So you can only have 1 healer, one warrior etc. UNLESS you decide to buy multiple copies of the game, but that just seems silly. Thank you for watching!!

Correct 1-4! Lasts about 45-60 minutes. My recording is less than an hour in total I think? And that is with explaining, so it isn't too long!

This game seems compatible and flexible enough to play with unsupported WACG quests, items, heroes etc. And vice versa...

3:36 Isn't the quest card showing that these cards should all be shuffled together (deck isn't separated by arrows)?

Page 3 of the rules state "shuffle the exploration cards into one or more stacks as specified on the back of the quest sheet. After shuffling the stack, place them on top of each other in the order shown on the quest sheet." So I think they are supposed to be in an order. Do you agree?

@@OneStopCoopShop I agree with the rule, I just don't think you performed it correctly in the case of the exploration deck. The rule says "into one or more stacks as specified". According to the quest card, the enemies deck is consisted from 2 such "stacks" that are placed on each other to form one deck, the location - from 3 such "stacks", but the exploration deck shows only one such stack in which all 3 types are shuffled together. As I understand the arrows that point downwards on the quest card distinguish between these stacks and there are no such arrows in the exploration deck. (If they wanted the "Base" cards to be on top of the "Wild" and then the "Village" to be on the bottom, the drawing would show 3 blue stacks separated by arrows).

Paid by FFG? Ha! No way this is for fun over here. So far I enjoy the game but only had it 2 days. I LOVE WACG it was in my top 20 solo games of all time so I am guessing this will be in there for sure! :)

Been playing this more and more lately, but my least favorite part of the game is the setup as it feels a bit fiddley no matter how well I organize everything. That said I still really enjoy the game.

6:37...these cards are so underwhelming. The hero's action cards should one one of the main ways card art is supposed to immerse you into the game. So bad and disappointing:/
