Cyclops, this whole season, had such good dialogue. Loved when he tells Logan "Don't you dare break her heart. Be the best at what you do....heal"...he knows how much he cares for her, and is the bigger man in that moment knowing it's what he needs to hear. Also, the aliases for Magneto in his file are great easter eggs: Ian M & Michael F

The writers walk the fine line perfectly. They stay true to the core, but they mix it up to constantly surprise us.

Not just the lore for the '92 series, but they CLEARLY showed love for the Original Comic Books. The fact that Wolvie losing his metal was right off the page of X-Men 25, literally shows us. Great reaction, thanks!

To think a bunch of haters were claiming this show was going to fail so hard before even watching episode 1, makes its triumph the more sweeter.

As someone who's Jewish, Magneto specifically using the word "pogrom" is so affecting. And I love Storm's reaction to The Phoenix. And we’re even getting Nate Grey! I guess we also know how Gambit’s coming back. Next season is going to be _wild!!!_

This show is worth the price of admission for Disney + as a whole right now (10/10)

33:06 35:19 Beau DeMayo confirmed on Twitter that Storm, Wolverine & Morph are in one of the two timelines. He also said "no prize" in response to someone's guess that they're in 3960 AD w/ Jean & Scott. Erik from New Rockstars speculated that that could be a reference to when Marvel Comics would respond to fan letters w/ a "No Prize" reward to confirm that they wouldn't get a prize for their correct answer.

Everyone involved in X-Men 97 were on top of their game. VA, animation, writing, editing, sound effects/music. Greatest thing Marvel did since Endgame and the greatest X-Men outside comics.

Daredevil, Captain America, Iron Man, Psylocke, Cloak and Dagger, Black Panther T’Chaka, Phoenix Force, Doctor Strange, even Peter Parker and Mary Jane Parker!🤯🤯🤯 This show did what the OG X-men show and Spider-Man animated series never did in their time, show that this is the Marvel UNIVERSE and that these worldwide threats truly impact all of the heroes and villains of the world.

It was smart for them to use water in that scene. Water is the element of emotion.

Interesting notes: When Rouge was describing her demons she picked up from Magneto while in a relationship with him, she described them as "Raging waters". Then we have the raging waters vision in Magneto's mind with the Professor. Also, when Rogue was having the talk with Gambit, he was burning cards in the fireplace. They kept showing the Queen card...notice how it only burnt up partially. Then we see the exact same card being pulled up from the rubble by Apocalypse which denotes, this was the exact spot that Rogue and Gambit had that talk. "So much pain... so much death!" I love the little details!!!!

For someone who has a Gambit tattoo. I was upset they didn’t revive Gambit. When that ending happened, so HYPED! Remember it!

What a phenomenal season of Marvel Television! This season, finale was absolutely incredible, and it really had it all! Great writing, jaw-dropping animation, masterful music, amazing voice acting performances, brilliant pacing, respect for the original source material/90s animated series, and lots of fun/really cool Cameos and Easter Eggs for the fans to enjoy! I'm so excited/hyped for Season 2 and will be counting down the days! This finale and the whole season get a 100/10 from me!

I think there's a subtle commentary on the Avengers not showing up (again), although being shown. I think they could join the fight if Beau wanted to. It's commercial and sells. BUT............. I can only remember in the Civil War cb storyline when Stark tries to recruit the X-Men for his side and Emma Frost tells him to go f himself asking where were the Avengers when 10 million mutants were murdered on Genosha.

I'm glad we are getting an apocalypse story arc before onslaught. People forgot that apocalypse did influence end stage Onslaught. Also I think things still need to cook before he pops out.

Augustine don't forget that Logan also had a training arc with electra and stick to help him retain his humanity in his feral form, not sure if they will go that far for the cartoon but it was a decent portion of the feral wolverine arc.

I've never seen the X-Men series but I kept hearing about certain moments in this new one and was watching reactions and now I want to see the full thing! Even from what little I've seen I've loved it and was surprised at some of the moments and how the show was a bit more mature than I thought!

I’d want to see some German dialog with Magneto and Nightcrawler next season. Maybe Kurt would have better luck converting Magnus than Charles. Kurt has the that definite mutant look but still able to be good guy.

The bastion Form with the "wings" is from the comics from "Second Coming" 2010's X-Force #26 SPOILER Rogue is crazy powerful and bastion Kills Nightcrawler while he is teleporting.

The Spider-Man animated series' showrunner said he would be happy to return to make a revival, and he's essentially waiting for the call.

This show is phenomenal. I put it over any TV project Marvel has put out in the last 5 years. As far as those complaining about it being woke, whatever that means, clearly aren’t real X-Men fans and know nothing about what their creation was meant to be

Those cameos are awesome!! They did Jubilee, Cyclops and rogue justice in this series that they were disrespected in the movies... Considering Jubilee's fireworks are nuclear... Gambit as a horseman... We might see Onslaught in the upcoming season...maybe season 3 since apocalypse is the main villain in season 2...

This Final was even better than I expected and the Marvel Cameos? Awesome! And next season with Apocalypse and Time Travel? I am here for it!

Onslaught in comics happens much later although this moment was the retconned origin. Feral Wolverine doesn't happen from him losing his adamantium, it was the first failed attempt to put new adamantium in him. Onslaught will likely be a season 2 episode 6 reveal

The interesting thing about the T'Chaka reveal is that a 1995 episode of Fantastic Four had T'Challa's Black Panther recruiting the FF to help avenge his father's death at the hands of Klaw so it's a bit of a discrepancy that I'm curious if it gets addressed.

Cable's time cube is housed in his techno arm and Bastion absorbed it. Bastion was able to use the time slide when he was fighting Rouge, it is the same power projection that shown when asteroid M vanished. Bastion sent the xmen to those time, he's not dead yet.

They said Jubuliee had the potential to maker her owers atomic level in the Xmen #2 comic

Yeah they gotta add the whole teary eye effect in the X-men/avengers live action movies. So simple but adds so much more to the scene (love invincible but hopefully it takes some notes from this for the conquest fight)

Dust is from the Generation X comic series. She's friends with Jubilee (at least in the comics) and basically has the same powers as the Spiderman villain The Sandman.

I need Storm and Wolverine to end up in the Savage Land being full feral and killing dinosaurs and Ororo has to talk him down with the help of Kazar. It’s been suggested that Apocalypse finds Ororo, Wolverine and Morph, resurrects Gambit and we get our four horsemen.

Read the Rise of Apocalypse, Blood of Apocalypse, Adventures of Cyclops and Pheonix, Onslaught arc and possible Age of Apocalypse comics.

I hope Marvel understands that those writers can make them Millions or maybe Billions if they use them for movies.

Remember Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch aren’t his kids but the show hasn’t covered it yet. We also don’t know where Wolverine, Storm, and Morph are yet.

This finale got me so hyped for s2! It also had me and ny mother screaming at the tv "bastion just die already!!!!!" So many times together 😅 was so happy to see a glimpse of Phoenix and ny girl Rogue quoting Remy was just beautoful!

Can I give a shoutout to The Newton Brothers for the amazing music in this series! With them and Ludwig Göransson, Disney shows and movies have had amazing scores recently!

Dust is an Afghan X-Man who was introduced at the height of post-9/11 jingoism, to represent the "good" Afghans. She's basically Sandman. Which...giving an Afghan sand-based powers? C'mon Marvel...

Hector and Agustin's comments at the beginning are part the reason why I commented in the Discord channel that I was "underwhelmed" by the finale: No Onslaught, and no "savage" Wolverine continuation. Also, Bastion became super OP with Cable's arm, but was almost defeated by Jubilee and the foot of a Sentinel? Other than that, it was a good finale, I just felt that this episode did not top the previous one, as all other episodes had previously done in my opinion. 9/10 series nonetheless! Also, Jean/Phoenix "curing" all of the Sentinel-humans, but also dropping them to their deaths mid-air! 😆 Wolverine may be in a future timeline where technology is much more advanced and he can get back his adamantium with a less painful process? I do think this series is some sort of a "test run" for Marvel Studios to gauge what the audience wants, and where to take the next Avengers Secret Wars movie.

I know story-wise there's a less than 0% chance, but it would be absolutely incredible if this curiously missing wolverine ends up being our wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine. I know he has his adamantium claws in the trailer though, and events of the Logan movie are referenced so it's def not the same one, but a man can dream.

Am I reaching or is it alluding a bit to Wanda's talk with Vision in Wandavision? How the tide of grief is overwhelming and how it will drown her... Like daughter, father also had a brilliant bald man thankfully there to help him process that ocean of pain and ride that damned wave!!! ❤ the reaction! 👍🏼

Scarlet witch and Quicksilver being off world could mean Kree-Skrull war, Operation: Galactic Storm, Infinity War or a more 90s version of the Annihilation Wave.
