One of my favorite things to say to my neices and nephews when I release them unto mischief making is " Go. Play. Have fun.". Every time I say that, their Aunt looks at me and gives me the " You seriously JUST said those lines to the kids?! They are gonna wreck the yard..." look. Each time, it brings me joy.

Thanks for liking it even though I rushed that. I rush a lot of these cosplay projects just due to time. It’s more to give the idea on how it can be done and that’s it’s possible. I would hope anyone trying it would take more time on it. 😎

I made this costume for my 4 year old son for Halloween a couple years back. I used a pepakura file I found online as a starting point. Used EVA foam for the helmet but worbla for the blade and face mask. If I could do it over agin, I probably would have just used foam for everything. The finished product was near flawless, but it took FOREVER! So much sanding and refinishing. So fun though!

That looks awesome, don't see a good Shredder mask out there often. The hot glue webbing looks fine to me, more natural. I've been tempted to make a foot clan mask but haven't yet. "Shut it, Ms. O'Neill!"

Actor took the part of The Shredder is James Saito. I really heard his actual voice in Home Alone 3 movie. His English is almost good.

One of my favorite lines from the film is actually something you wouldn't expect. They're Shredder's first spoken lines. As he watches April O'Neil's news report about the Foot Clan, he throws a Kunai at the television and turns to his minions, "Find her. Silence her!"

@@Heroesworkshop Uratex foam for the muscles and glue it on a long sleeve shirt and jogging pants. Then paint it with liquid rubber latex. Ive never tried it. But I think it will work. Just put a zipper at the back for easy access. 🤔🙂

Awesome work man couldn't w8 to see the build after the post on FB. when I made my shredder Cosplay the fins on top of the helmet where the hardest to get done and the spikes on the armour took the longest

I guess technically you already have because they added Spawn recently, and he looks absolutely perfect. but of course you can't go wrong with a Scorpion and/or Subzero mask because that's what most people would be into. Subzero has a sweet oni / samurai looking mask called stone cold redeemer.

Nice :) You mentioned earlier that you weren't quite happy with the mouth piece. Did you do any major changes or was it just minor shape changes? Great idea on how to make the web pattern on the helmet

It was the placement of the slots where the mesh went. I fixed it on the file before release. I actually remade the mouth piece but it wasn’t shown here

Would you and if you could would you 3D print it? Also for a stronger hold for the face mask you could use earth magnets and get smaller mesh.

Yes, magnets are something I’ve always used and already considered for this as well. Also, 3D printing is always a good route for making a screen accurate version. I build with foam on my channel though. So I’m not really going to be getting into 3D printing.

Anything can be made. The possibly of someone making it is up to the artist. I don’t know what that version or shredder is. So, I have no personal connection to it like you do. So, it’s safe to say that I’ll never make it.

I also used textured shelf liner for the woven texture on the helmet. $3 at Walmart. It was very convincing and already such a great color brown, I didn’t even need to paint that part! How do I post a photo on here??

I actually had that on hand already. Not to worry about showing me. I got it from the dollar store. I just opted to use hot glue. As it’s something that might be easier to find for some people.

Hey do you think you can do a tutorial on a fallout pipboy ? there's an app for fallout 4 where you can access in-game menu options from your cellphone via WiFi to operate the in-game pipboy menu for Xbox one & playstation. This means you can use your cellphone to create the visuals of a pipboy screen on your left forearm. So it would be a functional pipboy with a screen on your wrist. You could make it so you can just slide or pop in your cellphone. I'm considering doing your winter soldier arm or maybe the shredder helmet, I'm just getting into cosplay stuff myself. Thanks for any consideration of making a pipboy prop if you do...
