Whether the balancing is perfect or not I am certainly here to help bring Heroscape back, it’s the game of my childhood. I still have it and have introduced other people to it as well. My biggest fear is that fans get overly critical at release and ironically kill their own game again

Agreed. Even if the designs are "amateur garbage," the figures will still be amazing pre-painted Heroscape miniatures. 👍 It sounds like they may have decided to keep the previous unit designs that were presented to us by Avalon Hill, however...👍👍👍

I totally forgot about the affiliate program; I'll definitely use your code. Optimistically excited for Friday, and being able to do a live stream at the Convention sounds like a ton of fun. I appreciate your positivity and the emphasis on giving Renegade time to fix things down the road. Something may seem broken or worthless now, but may be fixed down the road. Spartacus improved a lot with the Capuans and came out (Wave 5 2006 vs Wave 9 2009) and Sir Gilbert and the KoW were 1-1.5 years apart. Granted other units like Hatamoto or Roman archers are still waiting on their saving graces...

It’s also possible the leaks we just false too. Sometimes ppl say and do things when they’re upset about losing jobs/positions. I’m open to believing anything is possible.

I've had that thought, too. Airborne Elite might be SUPER broken. Repeated drop-ins with the threat of grenade lobs, but Phantom knights take care of that if you play draft/counter draft. Marro Warriors could potentially be the worst (water cloning), but you would just have to chase them down with bonding squads with 5 or 6 activations per turn.

@pickle-shoemarvin7574 Have you playtested that? That would be a blast! Zettian Guards were designed to be common, I'm fairly certain. I drop their points to 60 per squad (I have ×3), and also give them Utgar soulborg hero bonding; Deathwalkers 9000, 8000, and 7000, as well as Warden 816. That's a dynamic army!

No offense, this video comes off shill-esque. From the post Haslab video SirH was quick to say “I hold you accountable Encarmine, etc.” for things that were most likely not in their control. Now with RenegadeScape, there has been wonky art with basic perspective off, anatomy completely missing in Loviatak’s wing (not to mention its other problems) and typos in a game magazine. No holding them accountable there beyond a sentence or two talking about the Sgt Drake typo in the previous video. Just seems hypocritical, especially after the affiliate link mention 🤷‍♂️ Regardless looking forward to tomorrow. Still love your content on the game, just rubbed me a bit wrong.

Sorry it did. I’m still skeptical don’t get me wrong…but I’m trying to stay positive, that’s all. Too much negativity just get us all in a mood to expect poor results. I’m still trying to hold hope tomorrow will calm our fears.

@@SirHeroscapenah that’s fair. It definitely reads more harsh than I intend. There were a lot of people that got personally invested in the Haslab campaign, myself included, and I have had a hard time with Renegade taking lead and the decisions made thus far. I get they were running a fundraising campaign, but Encarmine had answers for everything from delta points to lore to an app. Their vision and respect of the fan base (I know that can be controversial to say lol) has been just much grander than Renegade’s. Maybe that all changes tomorrow 🤷‍♂️ we’ll see, I still just wish we would have got AH’s product offerings and future (direct to store of course) because I haven’t had any reason to put trust in Renegade. Again that could change tomorrow lol. I can definitely appreciate you wanting to be positive about it all tho 🙂
