Honestly, great play with Moriko at the end there! The height wasn't just giving Laglor +1 attack, it was giving him a ton of safety - it would have taken her a while to climb up to him! Luring him down and into Moriko's threat range was a fantastic move, I honestly would not have thought of it. But yeah, as has been said, Sudema's just like that. Not a great unit. Game was a bit of a mismatch from the start, given that team Moriko had no synergy whatsoever, and plenty of abilities (like Grimnak's stat boosting and the wyrmling bonding) went completely unused. Would have been great to see two equally-balanced armies going head-to-head! Looking forward to the next battle, I'd love to see the other official maps in action!

Yeah, my (Adam) army was poorly drafted. Unfortunately I don't think that we have other wyrmling's, because I kind of loved using baby dragon. As for my choice of Grimnak I thought that chomp would be way more effective against the Gladiatrons, but I think I brought him out too early for high chomp level. Thanks for the thoughtful comment, we really appreciate it. - Adam

@@hexhalla Ah, fair enough. Red wyrm is a really fun unit - not really worth the 30 points solo (marcu is just so much better in that filler slot, as is Guilty McCreech if you have him), but it's one of my favorite units once you double the effective power of every order marker. Consider grabbing more baby dragons if you get the chance, you won't regret it! As for Grimnak, I'm not sure the timing was the issue - without grut support, it's just too high a points investment. 120 points for, typically, one dead chaff unit per order marker spent, is really inefficient. Compare that to like, Syvarris - with 9 range, height advantage is easy to find. So he's often got 2 attacks of 4 - likely to kill your average squaddie, possibly two, and devastating against heroes as well. 20 points cheaper, and can attack without risking retaliation - yeah it's no guaranteed kill, but considering what else you get it's just so worth it. Sorry, I'm kinda just yapping - I like the funny hex game! Still excited to see what else is in store!
