Jhu has always been an incredibly powerful hero, but it wasn't until the Guild Hydra Fights on Hero Wars Mobile, and the Guild Raid activity on Hero Wars FB/Web, that he started to see a really large comeback!
There's a good chance that the majority of your opponents are using Jhu nowadays, and this video will show you 2 ways to counter him!

Yasmine after using Dance of Death on Jhu will literally make Jhu a kill target. The poison will manage to kill him before Jhu even gets a chance to use his purple skill

You need a hero that does a "control" effect. In these fights it was Qing Mao and Karkh. On top of that Nebula draining energy helps. I have run into problems with my ODH because there are no stuns and Jhu just does not die

Orion does have a stun. It's not great though.

I run both ODH and DHL (Dorian - Helios - Lilith) teams, and in my opinion Lilith is more efficient against Jhu teams than Orion.

Need hero does control effect. If Jhu is protected by Sebastian Lian, Helios with Biscuit patronage can easy break Sebastian shield.

I like Celeste because she blocks his healing and can kill him. Arachne's stuns also slow his cycle so he can be killed.

Phobos also counters Jhu pretty well - his skills both stun and drain energy from him.

I love the Twins and my team isn't countered often and is unusual so most people I come up against don't know how to beat them

Alavanor ultimate protect againts basics attacks, guess it will be effective vs Jhu.

Im a noob but im sure his ability is being able to cycle PERMANENTLY through his ult that never ends means he never dies. From what i can tell is to stop him is to stun him before he cycles to another invincibility. Youre "counter" strat is for max level characters i.e pro players

Putting Lian in backline can work against Jhu in many cases.

Until you run into Jhu and Sebastian and he hits her for 600k.

Judge seems to be a good counter (on mobile). The back position getting shielded seems to negate him

I like a combo of Helios and Maya when dealing with Jhu and most physical dps heavy teams.

how does Helios compliment Maya? Maya takes foever to charge up her ult. and Helio is anti crit, and not all physical damage team are crit teams

@@andylawcc Hi @Andy Law, Maya pulls the group together, using Poisonous Bonda, which allows Helios to hit more heroes allowing him to charge faster. If the defending team destroys Maya's Queen of Flowers, her vines both roots the defenders and attack with pure damage which helps to attack and slow down physical attackers in general.

I use the kill him fast approach on mobile. I use Jet with high dodge with Seb and my Engineers and destroy all Jhu teams All!

I try to put Dante in the back to counter Cleaver... might be good Jhu as well.

As for putting Dante against Cleaver, you need to recognize that Cleaver executes pulling by means of pure damage which excludes dodge. However, if you run some variation of Blessed team (for example, Chabba - Galahad - Tristan - Markus - Dante), that pulling can allow Tristan to gain extra energy from frontline Dante. Similarly, you should be aware that one of Jhu skills is executed by means of pure damage, and Dante will not be able to dodge it.

Unfortunately you didn't use the most popular Jhu tank now: Cleaver. He stops the Martha counter by pulling her in and then Jhu proceeds to rape the entire team. Dodge is pretty much the only real counter now. Especially when you get into fully maxed, ascended Jhus with Sebastions.

there are THOUSANDS of players who have not received Cleaver from the chest :) By the way, you need not Cleaver for pulling Martha, it is LUTHER which can abuse Martha's teapot.
