It’s the first show of series 20 (how does this keep getting commissioned?) and Rich is giving a moving tribute to a wrongly disgraced broadcaster and glad to see what’s making the BBC news headlines. His guest is the reigning Taskmaster champion Ed Gamble. They discuss who is doing the most podcasts, the problem with banofee pie, naughty puppets, why heavy metal is childish, whether Ed’s fiancé is a paid actor, the Proustian memories brought up by gladiators and performing whilst looking at yourself in a sheet of perspex. Plus would being caught in an act of self-love on camera be good or bad for Richard’s career.

I don't know why the bit where Ed goes: "That's the thing with new mediums, is that there's a lot of shit." and Richard just replies with "... that's Brian Wasp!" was so fucking funny to me but it was.

I enjoyed that bit near the beginning where it went dark and that swarm of shy photosensitive wasps swarmed on your shoulder, apparently, if you kill a wasp they release a pheromone for others to become more aggressive, they were obviously out for revenge for their fallen Brian the wasp.

I haven't seen the film, and I'm not going to google it, but does it start with a woman giving birth to a fully-grown old man, or does it end with a baby forcing its way back into a uterus? Or does he start as a decaying body that crawls out of a grave, or does the baby eventually split into a sperm and ovum?

that doesn't really make any sense. We continue with life because we can't go on forever, the devil continues being bad even though he knows he will lose. Very different things. only explanation for devil is that God is a tyrant and it's worth giving up Heaven in order to rebel. So no real similarities.
