3-4 timkes a week I will do 1,000 or more Pushups inside of one hour. At first I would just do 500 3-4 days a week and then I built up to 1,000 daily until I got to the point where I could do 1,000 or more inside of one hour. WHat got me into this Pushup exercise is Herschell Walker doing all his Pushups. Thank you Herschell for getting me into this.

Herschel Walker, in his book "Basic Training", explains that he typically did around 300 push ups a day. I am sharing this to give those interested in replicating his routine a more realistic understanding of the maximizations of the human body. It's probably possible to do far more than 300 push ups a day; but, one should get well accustomed to a number in the lower hundreds range before stepping up into the thousands, if it is their intention to eventually do that.

It's not isometric. A plank is isometric. A pushup is not. Also, if the exercise is so easy that you can do thousands of them in a day, then you should probably be doing something far more challenging. In prison, you can do far more advanced calisthenics than simple pushups and situps. For example, planche pushups, dragonflags, clapping handstand pushups, etc. It sounds like he does it for cardio.

This is not impossible guys. One of my pre-workouts used to be 200 push-ups and 200 ball crunches all in about 8 minutes. I'd do 60 of each, 60 of each again, then 40 of each and 40 of each again taking no more than 10 - 15 seconds rest periods. Getting to 500 of each in 30 minutes would have been very easy if I was only focusing on those 2 exercises. You have to try it before you say it's impossible. Also understand that some people are just naturally physically stronger than others. I saw a guy bench 315 for 20 reps before. He then followed it up by benching 365 for 14 reps with ease. Could I do that? Hell no, but I understand that I have limitations just as that guy probably will never be able to do 30 Pull-ups at once as I can do.

You never know lol, bench press and pull ups use completely different muscle groups. Pull ups require cooperation from the whole body to stabilize and keep yourself from swinging too. Also, bodyweight plays a factor, as a guy who can bench that much probably is very heavy and that gives him a disadvantage.

Benjamin Suh hey just because you're weak and have no endurance doesn't mean doing 900 pushups a day is impossible, and im actually doing 950 a day now as a matter of fact
So now you lying too. Yea lets all make outrageous lies like Hershel maybe thats how he got so strong. Lied so much he started to believe it.

I think it’s possible. Is range of motion may be till forearm is at 90 degree angle cause no one who does lots does full extension chest to floor that will fuck you up. I think he does fast not full range but 1, 500 push-ups still impressive, he does sets of 75 I heard him say in interview so he’d do this is 10 sets!

@@seandafny 1500 pushups is very doable. Now 1500 AND 1500 situps? Now that's hard. That workout would last 3 hours. Does anyone have time for a 3hour workout?

Living the life that matters not everyday its not. The funny part is the sit ups i cud maybe believe a little. But not both
