His muscles would be starving for protein and amino acids the rest of the day. How can you achieve the goal of 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight if you eat one meal a day, and a vegan meal at that? He is a genetic freak. You don't need 1 gram per pound to maintain your muscle unless you have low testosterone or something. Studies have shown that like 0.9 per pound is optimal for muscle gain, so for just maintaining your muscle 0.6 to 0.8 is probably enough.

@Pushups are great they ain't regular pushups either, he does them from different angles and positions and many of them are one armed pushups. He explained once that if you do regular pushups you won't get size but you can maintain. So he made up his own style of pushups and now everyone else uses them.
