I was a NW kid, and Hershel was a local legend- when I started racing in the 60's we all talked about how fast that "old guy" was. I had the chance to race against him in the mid 70's and later on in 2003 when I was getting long in the tooth I raced against him again.

Wonderful enter view. I agree about the victory burnouts. Ain’t never been a fan of destroying the car after a win. Very expensive and childish. Thank you for the memories Hershal
