I love scale steam locomotives. I've always wanted one. But my pay doesn't allow for it. It's also always cool to watch one go though.

If I ever win the lottery this is exactly what I’m going to blow it all on. I would then proceed to drive my steam trains around all day long and there’s nothing anyone could do to stop me

я в восторге!!!! молодцы ребята что занимаетесь интересным делом, с детства любил железную дорогу, мечтал быть машинистом локоматива ,но когда окончил школу ,на этот год уже не было набора группы по этой специальности , очень жаль , тогда пошёл на водителя большегрузных карьерных самосвалов и полюбил и эту профессию

Please consider visiting as an education for school children. Steam, brakes, motion, fun. About 40 miles east of Chicago on the Indiana / Michigan border.

Wow awesome video. I've beent to Hesston on numerous occasions I likeed seeing the Kiddieland steam train again. Rode behind that as well. Where is the diesel engine? BTW Hesston & Galena Creek from The Brookfield Zoo train? Looked like the same design. Just wondering. Thanks for posting it. Have a great day everyone

If i ever could, I'd buy that streamlined 4-8-4 that they have there for use on my own railroad along with the 4-12-2 being built by the ATT&NW.

There is no 4-8-4 there in large scale. The 4-12-2 is also being built by the Merrick Light Locomotive Works, not the ATT&NW.

Why is the number two loco galloping? Does it have a third piston under the smoke box. And yes that is thing.

There around and after 3:29, are Hesston & Galena number 2's cab and tender painted a dark green or was it just their smooth finish reflecting the green of the surrounding plants?

Nah I don’t think that’s a reflection, the back of the tender is also green and not reflecting the red of the coaches

@@davidurban6813, they also have a working steam powered saw mill which runs from spring through fall. On labor weekend, the Steam Crane is powered up to load the logs on the mill.
