Wiernie to można tłumaczyć umowę (nawet nie zawsze), a tłumaczenie literackie to zupełnie inna bajka. Radzę poczytać Barańczaka.

Fate...Dreams...Angeline.... nie wyobrażam sobie je zaśpiewane po polsku. Kasia ma genialny głos którym mogłaby śpiewać nawet po rosyjsku a i tak wyszłoby świetnie. Bardzo dobrze że nie śpiewa tylko po polsku peace :)

polska wersja ma większego kopa, łącznie z tekstem. Nie jest mega dosłownie przetłumaczone, ale jednak nie ma szans przetłumaczyć czegoś co zostało napisane w jakimś języku jako tekst głęboki, poetycki na inny język. To samo tyczy się wielu angielskich tekstów. Trzeba po prostu ten język znać. Ale i tak piosenka jest świetna ;)

dla mnie mogło by być i po starocerkiewno słowiańsku

a mi angielska wersja bardziej lezy.... nosowska jest wspaniala, jest jednaz niewielu, ktora tworzy glebokie, piekne melodycznie, poruszajace i madre utwory... na piec gwizdek daje jej dziesiec ;)

po angielsku jest całkiem nieźle. ale osobiście wolę polską wersję, bardziej mnie wzrusza. zaś najlepszą piosenką Hey w jęz ang. jest One Of Them! :)

hmm.. kasztanka - anglistą czy anglistką? :P A mi się wydaje, że tłumaczenie złe nie jest, a reszta to już raczej subiektywne odczucia. I myślę, że ktoś po prostu chciał oddać polską wersję jak najwierniej. A czy nie ma poezji, to tu bym się sprzeczała.

kasztanka: Tłumaczenie jest wierne, więc tak samo poetyckie jak oryginał. "Przekładanie jak węgiel" jest właśnie najlepsze, chyba, że wolisz urozmaicać* tłumaczenia i tłumaczyć np. "Die Hard" jako Szklaną Pułapkę, jeśli nie przeszkadza ci, że wychodzą idiotyzmy.
