Story Behind Hey Pita:
It was on the 2nd of September, 2010, as I was praying and asking the Holy Spirit to help me to please GOD. I believed that in many ways I had disappointed GOD, and I had made him sad by not living a life pleasing to HIM. Though I was a born-Christian, and filled with the HOLY SPIRIT started speaking in tongues from a tender age of three, there was still this vacuum inside of me, and realized that something was amiss. I used to ask GOD to speak to me, and was waiting to have a face-to-face encounter with Him. And as I was praying, the HOLY SPIRIT’s leading gave me a beautiful song which I titled, “Hain Pita”. The lyrics of the song go like this: “Chehreki Teri Hansi Deti Hai Mujhko Zindagi, Zara Tu Hasde, Zara Muskura de, Itna Hi Kaafi Hain” (Meaning of the lyrics: The smile on your face makes me feel alive, and so just smile for me once, laugh a little, and that is more than enough for me). That was like a big turning point in my life. Ever since after what God had revealed to me through that song, I took a firm decision that no matter what, I will always try and be that girl who would bring a smile on my heavenly Father’s face. And so that was the day, when I started having a close relationship with GOD, and He still continues to talk to me in miraculous ways!
