Not sure about ur specific situation. But men who divorce especially if their smart won't remarry. There is definitely a difference between alone and remarrying. Also becuase divorce court is the way it is it is not unheard of for a man to be so financially destitute that he indeed does have to move back home. Certainly the statistics don't prove that most men are able to move to the equivalent of the home they were in while the marriage was in good standing. And that's not the extreme version of divorce for a man in today's society statistics bare out that it is alot worse when considering the affects of relationships with children which were the result of the marriage etc.

Not if he was abusive, excessive cheating, and/or disrespectful to her. We dont know the details and she reiterated that they knew what she had been through with him. If I were her family and she told me that he was doing the things I stated previously, I would not be talking to him AT ALL.
