i believe many of their recordings are actually this length and we just get heavily edited versions in the uploads. i can't remember which of the crew mentioned it (maybe jacob?), but one of them has said in the past that david's edits are tighter than when jacob, nathan, or julia do it (evidenced by david's edits usually being under 30 minutes but the ones by the other three around that period were 40+ minutes).

I mentioned this in a different reply, but I didn’t realize the 草 thing and it makes it extra interesting to me since in Chinese 草 (cao) is usually used as a replacement for the word “fuck” since it sounds similar. 😆 I have seen some Chinese people use “wwww,” probably learned from Japanese users, but usually Chinese people use 哈哈 (haha) (or any of its variations, like 嘻嘻 (xixi), 嘿嘿 (heihei), or 呵呵 (hehe (slightly sarcastic a lot of the time)). The more interesting one is when Chinese people laugh using “23333,” and it’s not because it sounds like laughter at all. Instead, 233 was the number of a laughing gif emote from a Chinese website, and typing “23333” became popularly associated with laughter enough that it just continued onwards. But basically I was just struck with how interesting cultural differences can be, especially when kanji is derived from Chinese characters, so the difference between how they both use 草 is even funnier to me ahaha.
