Just when I think I can’t hate Gene and Paul more than I already do, they manage to stoop even lower than they already were.

Years ago when I read Gene's book... Sex, Money, Kiss... He pretty much admitted that guys like him had one driving force in life, to get people's money into his pocket. Since then I don't buy Kiss memorabilia anymore. Stories like the one in this video confirm that Kiss have ruined what little legacy they had left.

Paul & Gene are pulling a page from the VV playbook. I still have my check, which was received, cashed, and sent back to me, from the "Alive IV" Japanese import with bonus tracks from 2000 that I never received, because it wasn't released until being included in the "Alive 1975-2000" box set....which I got, with all 3 bonus tracks.....but I had to pay for it twice, and even in 2006, they screwed up and forgot the bonus tracks....2 of which, a couple months later, were sent out as a CD on its' own, and 1 of which was iTunes bonus track. When I tried contacting the band about this, the reply I got from Gene was basically "Good luck, our lawyers are hungry". So, with the 2020 livestream, I only got the livestream.....because I knew that this would happen.....yet Gene & Paul want to rip on VV for doing the exact same thing? IT'S CALLED FRAUD!!!

Someone on the KISS subreddit said they spent over a grand on some VIP package and have recieved nothing.

I stopped giving them my money over 10 years ago, and I’m happy. I still love the music, I just choose not to give them my hard earned money anymore.

Those fans were ripped off and kiss charges fans a fortune and they treat them like suckers and those rabid fans fall for it.

$250 and absolutely nothing. I need links to the petitions and lawsuits I'd like to join. I either want my money back or I want my stuff. They've planned other concerts and the Kiss Kruise and merchandise for all of those events. If they can do that then they can give us the VIP merch we paid for.

Kiss is one of my favorite bands, but the only money I've ever given them was buying 5 albums in the 70s, 5:concert tickets, 2 concert t-shirts, and maybe 20 of those $15 concert beers. The Dubai show was sad. I think they lost their shirts on that show. I met Ace backstage in 1979 and he was super cool. Also met Gene and he was a dick.

The only time a VIP package is worth purchasing, is when there is artist participation involved. Meaning, you get to meet a band or artist and get their autograph.

Beyond comprehension that a couple of multimillionaires would steal from the same fans they pretended were their inspiration for the past 50 years. Ace and Peter both fell on hard times, I don't recall them scheming and stealing from their fans. I guess we now know Gene and Paul were projecting all these years when they continually defamed Ace and Peter.

In the old days when the music media actually had something to report, this would not have gotten a pass. These days the standard to meet is getting and interview because they're fans. So there is no story to tell unless the band is given the ability to craft it themselves. Anyone who is a fan of this band should not close their eyes to this.

So, i only saw this a few days ago and i asked my wife, who just happens to work at a law firm, if she could ask the lawyers if fans could sue!! They said, in this country(european) that if you make a purchase and have the proof of purchase, like credit card statements, etc you are entitled to your item. If it never gets, got sent then you are owed a full refund if said items were never delivered. And yes, in this country that i live in, many Kiss fans ordered those VIP packages and they never recieved anything. Can you sue? If you got the money to start a lawsuit, go for it. IMO If enough people sue for the same thing they(Kiss) will probably have no choice but to start issuing refunds OR send the merch that was paid for. All of this could have been avoided if Kiss had just honered the purchases and sent the merch out for delivery!! Or, if the merch was never made, then give everyone a refund. It's funny how fans still buy tickets to see these guys lip-synch even after they rip-off a large fan base by not delivering the merch, still after 2 years! Unbelievable!!

Best part of the Dubai show was when Paul’s lip synch track screwed up and he sang a duet with himself during Love Gun. Check it out there’s two simultaneous vocal tracks, the recording and his live vocal.

Gene has always been like one of those "snakeoil salesmen" for the old days! And Paul is no better! This latest neverending "end of the road tour" which has them gouging fans for ridiculous prices! Then there's the smashed guitars Paul is selling and of course Gene is doing? Cause never let it be said that he'll never let an opertunity to squeeze more money from the fans!

Yup this happened to me

KISS Online could be the epitome of merchandising in the world of branding and packaging. Yet it consistently fails to deliver products it peddles as limited editions and collectibles. It's disappointing for the hardcore fanbase which has faithfully supported KISS through the great times and the lean times. The Dubai online NYE show came with a poor business case, and fans are waking up to the reality a lot of the box-sets of their classic records have been produced to sell at 3 and 4 times the original retail price in the after-market by resellers.

That concert is terrible by the way. Who would wanna own that concert anyway? I saw it, and it's really bad! Anyway, KISS isn't the first band or artist to do this. I've ordered a CD from a band and another one from an artist, that I will not name, years ago that I still did not receive, and it's been about 5 years or more! No refund. Nothing. I figure now it's just money lost and I have no hope in getting the CDs. I'm glad I didn't pay for one of these concert packages from KISS.
