God.... I miss Hey Hey its Saturday......................... we all use to sit around the TV and have fun watching it.... it was very sad when he decided to cancel the show..... for us Australians, Saturday was never the same ever again.... we lost something Great............

I reckon the show died the night he apologized to HKJ for 'offending' him. Humour heals, being offended harms. They are your emotions and feelings, learn to control them and thereby owning them.

TV is just not the same anymore. You can tell this was a live show and I love how Ozzie is keeping Daryl on track (correcting him at least 3 times when he got confused).

Also Darryl not giving a shit how professional he looks when he keeps going over the rundown of photos and which lot he's judging until he's sure he's got it right. Modern day award shows could take a leaf out of his book.

You mean Ossie? That was in the 90's. In the 80's, there was also the guys in the band, Red, Wilbur, Animal and some of the crew, like Crystal, they made the switch to Saturday nights all worthwhile.

We sent one in after a holiday in Port Albert. There was a road sign that read 'rest when sleepy'. At the base of the sign was a dead wombat on its back with all four paws in the air. They never aired it, probably because they thought we were some sick family that placed it there. Another would be the float parking sign at the local racecourse in Yarra Glen, it would often flood.
